Oh Land

The colorful art currently on display at the Charles Bank Gallery is the same art that graces the cover of Oh Land's new album cover. It's by fellow Danish artist Eske Kath. Oh Land played a 30 minute set to a packed crowd at her first of four shows at the gallery last night (3/29). The electro-pop singer, who currently calls NYC home, was accompanied by a backing band that included a keyboard player, string quartet and drummer, and her trademark white balloons, complete with projections, graced the ceiling. A video and more pictures from the event, below...

@12:41

+1 12:52 —i.e anyone else on Epic has gotta be better.

Clearly whoever signed her did not do so for her musical ability.

Posted by Anonymous | March 30, 2011 1:38 PM

Oh Land: I will sleep with you if you sign me.

What would you do?

@2:07:

You're ridiculous and sexist. Her music might not be for everyone but from the couple of songs I have heard, she's decent.

Posted by Anonymous | March 30, 2011 2:09 PM

she's decent, sure ... work it, Inge, work it ...
