Anyone have last night's set times for Wild Flag, Superchunk and Bright Eyes?

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:28 AM

Mr. Wallace, your death gave us way too much Sean Combs. And for that, you'll never be forgiven.

MISSY THANGS

wild flag 8....superchunk 8:30
bright eyes 10
bright eyes really sucked IMO...sound was amazing for wild flag and superchunk...but the sound was just way off for bright eyes

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:34 AM

Bright Eyes doesn't go on until 10pm??? I was hoping they'd be done by then! Yes.....it sucks getting old.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:43 AM

so wild flag only plays for 15 minutes?!?!

The great Marcellus Hall at Bowery Electric

Posted by PG | March 9, 2011 10:50 AM

bowery should do a BIG tribute show with MGMT covering his songs

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:54 AM

I guess there's no point in getting there early for just 15 minutes of Wild Flag. In this case two openers is just kind of stupid. Time could have been split between just Superchunk and Bright Eyes.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:57 AM

superchunk may have been more like 845ish actually...

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:58 AM

"Bright Eyes doesn't go on until 10pm??? I was hoping they'd be done by then! Yes.....it sucks getting old."

What did you expect? Tickets say doors at 7, show at 8. With two openers, for Bright Eyes to be done by 10pm required the opening band playing 5 minute sets.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 10:58 AM

wild flag played for a solid 30 minutes. superchunk went on around 845. bright eyes at 10. all were excellent.

Superchunk and Bright Eyes is a wet dream for reformed emo listeners.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 11:50 AM

Can't make it, but Atheist is the show of the night!

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 12:15 PM

I feel like Superchunk and Wild Flag were just relying on their amps. Didn't even sound like they were mic'd. Am I crazy...

..FOR LOVING YOU?

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2011 1:01 PM

superchunk should add another show tonight or tomorrow at a small non-seated venue.

Wednesdays are really good days to go out in town. With so muchgoing on tonight, I'm certainly going to load up on my hummus consumption so the phyto-nutrients locked within the chickpea give me the energy to keep me up and running tip the 4am hour.

Amazing night at Radio City again:) Unlike Night #1, everyone was standing for the whole show from the beginning and sang along to old/new songs. Conor was interacting with the crowd more and talked about silly wars we've been involved for too long. Too bad they couldn't fit one more song during an encore last night! I guess they ran out of time and had to be down by midnight!

Looked like Nick Zinner was enjoying the show as well.

"everyone was standing for the whole show"

Not in the balconies. There were only a handful of people standing.
