Bon Iver has announced only two live dates since announcing his/their new album. Tickets for the Brooklyn one go on sale at noon.

Got 1, not sure what all the fuss was about yesterday.

ticketmaster fees are starting to deter me from going to shows. unfuckingbelievable.

Wasted energy/time yesterday (Pre-Sale)

I guess that's why I was pissed.

You are right though. Very easy today and kind of silly to get so mad yesterday.

although $5 is okay for bon iver. i was complaining about another event where fees nearly were 50% of the ticket price

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:08 PM

GOD, ticket master can suck a nut.

Yeah, say what you want about bowery presents, atleast their surcharges are pretty reasonable at most venues (except the radio city/beacon venues). Just look at tickets to aeg events at the waterfront. Last years faith no more show had surcharges of about 17 bucks a ticket! Now thats absurd!

Re: 12:10 - Where are you, smug Merc Lounge ticket buyer?

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:18 PM

12:14, yes, that's what I meant. I was looking at a Stone Pony show.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:22 PM

12:14- here's a quarter. call someone who cares

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:24 PM

Why would you pay $43 to see this again?

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:41 PM

If I may request, at what time does Mr. Kanye (ie: Dr. Fishstick Crybaby) take the stage?

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:44 PM

got a couple tix. but, that was hit with all the service fees. was just going to sit beyond the fences but I think for this concert, you wont get the point unless your in there.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:48 PM

I don't think the fees are only for Ticketmaster. Promoters/bands also get a cut of that as well.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 12:51 PM

I'm happy/grateful I got a ticket today but still annoyed about wasting lunch on a beautiful day yesterday with the pre-sale. The promoters need to use a better system that deters scalping.

What part of "the presale was for Celebrate Brooklyn members" don't you people get?

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 1:13 PM

OH NO LCD ALL OVER AGAIN

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 1:22 PM

I walked up to mercury lounge box office at 12:25, no one else in line and bought my tickets without any extra fee's.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 1:34 PM

1:34 is the smug, unemployed Merc Lounge apologist! We've been waiting to hear back from you!

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 1:49 PM

without any extra FEE'S
if only your holier-than-thou attitude extended to your command of grammar

43.35 for an overrated one album wonder. No.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 2:50 PM

^^
that album is not overrated and you know it.

Posted by Anonymous | April 29, 2011 5:11 PM

For Emma was a great album, but I am having a hard time justifying paying $43.35 for a huge outdoor show that is mainly soft acoustic music. This should be a $25 ticket, or a $40 ticket at Bowery.

There are no more tix available on Ticketmaster!
