“Alternating between his huge bass sax and an alto, the Colin smothered his sound in grimy specks of noise, all coming from somewhere in his body. On one song he beatboxed next to the mic, maintaining his looping figures at the same time. On another he hummed a melody that crackled through, like an old 78, underneath the sax notes.”
