Posted by Matt | April 19, 2011 10:54 PM
I think it is a lovely painting, I especially like the TAN wallpaper in the back.
Posted by Anonymous | April 19, 2011 10:58 PM
Well it's certainly flattering. He gave Win more hair than he actually has.

Our dogs (all breeds) love hummus and have never had any problems with it. I usually buy the original or make my own and neither one has peppers in it. They like theirs on french bread right along with the rest of the family. My dogs don't eat hummus often, but as I said before, we have had no problems with it.

"Win"? "Regine"? Frankly, those names sound made up.
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 12:56 AM
lol. i didnt know people did fan art for indie bands.
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 1:01 AM

chain wallet ftw
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 1:48 AM
shut up.
this is cool.
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 2:03 AM
I would have more chance of getting a Selectavision CED of "The Long Long Trailer" to They Might Be Giants than this freakish casualty of representational art would have of getting this painting to Win & Regine.
On the other hand, if they see this thread, don't they already get the gist? It'd save on postage costs from Pratt at the very least.

Talentless attention whore that of course went to Pratt. If you want to give something to a band wait outside the venue after a show, not rocket science.
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 5:22 AM
i was hoping that there was some instruction on decent art AND music at Pratt
guess not
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 7:52 AM
right on 5:22am. that's what i've always done.
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 8:06 AM
"Triangles?"
"Yeah, but I did it first"
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 8:42 AM
"I look forward to many years of looking at the triangles."
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 9:02 AM
that's totally more julian casablancas than anything remotely Win Butler. desperate fan. bake some cookies for them too won't ya

Aspergers is a hell of a drug
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 9:32 AM
I love when BV threads disolve into Seinfeld and Simpsons quotes.
Carry on...
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 9:36 AM
Thats got to be the next AF cover
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 9:55 AM
The quote is from Art School Confidential, dicknose.
Get your cultural references right before making a fool of yourself next time.

So this is what higher education is nowadays?
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:19 AM
"I look forward to many years of looking at the triangles" is a Seinfeld quote

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:22 AM
HAHA who's the dicknose now?
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:27 AM
I can't imagine that they would want this! Why do they have Children of the corn eyes and Hep C Jaundice skin color?
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:34 AM
8:42, the first quote, is Art School Confidential.
And where is the Simpson's quote here?
Dicknose?
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:37 AM
There is no simpsons quote on this thread, but just the other day another thread became a quote machine of "Lisa the Vegetarian"
Why so serious?
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:39 AM
because I hate the Simpsons
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:41 AM
i'm guessing your birthday was after 1993 or so...
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:46 AM
You guys are goofballs, the Seinfeld quote was me, famous for my hilarious joke at 12:56, which is a reference to the line "I think the chair is a fantastic gift idea. But I never heard of this Joe Mayo. And frankly, it sounds made up." http://www.seinfeldscripts.com/TheReversePeephole.htm
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:54 AM
I can do Simpsons all day though, for example "And this time YOU can be the Nacho Man!"
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:55 AM
Art School Confidential sucked. Who would quote that Zwigoff shit anyway?
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 10:59 AM
I can do Simpsons all day too! For example:
"You might even say... we just ate Üter... and he's in our stomachs right now!
....wait, scratch that last one."
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 11:00 AM
anyone who "hates" the simpsons (10:41) must have apsergers or some serious brain disorder.
they cannot be a fully-funtioning THINKING homosapien and hate the simpsons.
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 11:11 AM
"If you think about it, manure is not really that bad a word. I mean, it's 'newer,' which is good, and a 'ma' in front of it, which is also good. Ma-newer!"
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 11:12 AM
11:11 spoken like a true Liberal and hipster
"anyone who does not agree with my opinions is an asshole"
Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2011 11:28 AM
11:28 normally I would agree with you, but I agree there is something seriously wrong with someone if they cannot appreciate the Simpsons. Well, the first 10 seasons or so...
Either that, or they've just never seen the show and decided that they hate it. Which is sad really, it's some of the best writing in the history of television.
