LCD?

I went Friday and Wednesday. Friday's crowd had way more energy and it started later too but both shows were fine. Lets be honest... after all the hype and ultimately an excellent run of LCD shows it seemed like these shows were kind of bland. Truthfully, they are a pretty fun band if you just want to have a good time. If you aren't there to enjoy it, why go?

that one pic of T5 from the front to the rear for me encompasses all the wrath that this venue gets..Thats quite a few people (under the second tier) that have a crap sight line for the show. The experience can be (when your in that spot) that you're not even IN the venue. And like stated before, if you're not on the rail on the upper levels, it really isn't worth it up there. It's not set up for entertainment. It's set up to be a warehouse.

nice pics!

Fun show but what's up with the short set? If you have 3 full lengths, you have to at least play 15-18 songs.

Not to continue a meme, but I was also gonna write 'who'?

I myself am done till they extend the playlist some more. That was a short ass show. No reason to play Sun God. Shit is bland, but if you must play it...how about 2 minuts of it.

Boycott Bowery Presents you hipster sheep.

Posted by Anonymous | April 8, 2011 12:54 PM

^ I wouldn't...they bring the bands I see the shows..who else is booking the current acts as regularly as Bowery Presents?

I was impressed they played Sun God. You might look at it as a filler to kill time but I think it's the most out there song they have done. I kinda hope they keep going in that direction. Cut Copy have real potential and COULD be a GREAT band if they just got away from the mold of the 4 minute dancerock song and were more comfortable playing live. I'm excited to hear more. Also Hummus. Also they hugged during the set and that was really gay. I shed a tear.

^ agreed on Sun God. Nice divergence from the album version.

Agree with 11:49. I mean, at least throw in Time Stands Still and Far Away.

I don't think the show was short at all. Too many Indie Bands run shows too long. There has to come a time when the band knows to get off stage and end the set. It was a great show. The pics above are fantastic.
