Jonny Corndawg completed his April residency at Brooklyn Bowl last night (4/25) with an impressive lineup of openers that included Jason Isbell (who played Bowery Ballroom a few days earlier) and folk legend Michael Hurley who Jonny is now on a short tour with. Used to be a time when hicks like this used to get run out of Brooklyn with pitchforks and torches. Too many Midwest idiot transplants nowadays. We need a good rash of street crime to scare all the hayseeds back out to the corn fields.
