The Dead Milkmen

Now with a new record out, The Dead Milkmen returned to Warsaw in Brooklyn Saturday night (4/9). It was their second NYC reunion show at the Polish social club in two years, and still only one of very few they've played total. Their next is in Chicago.

If you couldn't be there, you can always listen to the show over at VisualNoiz.com, and check out video of "Bitchin' Camero" with the full setlist and more pictures from the show, below...

Dork has a Wasted Youth t-shirt and lacking the balls to stage dive!?! Sad.

pretty sure he did stage dive... multiple times

The setlist is missing the cover of Death Valley 69 they did which was insane.

Also it should be noted "In Cars" was a pretty straight up Gary Numan cover.

Awesome show! Life is Shit into Death Vally 69 ruled! I gotta say though, Rodney was a little funnier in terms of onstage banter and what not 2 years ago. but no lie, Excellent show!

@1139..that dork was also at the subuhmans show a week ago and was stage diving all night. you sir, are a dildo.

1:07. What a comeback. Wow.

The opening bands were horrible and overstayed their welcome.

Rodney's rant against Rolling Stone magazine was just stupid and showed how out of touch he is. If he railed against pitchfork it would have been great. If he railed against Brooklyn Vegan it would have been epic.

most of the kids in the crowd were too young to even know what Rolling Stone magazine is.

That kid makes me feel really old.

his rant against Rolling Stone was awesome... what show were you at? one of the most energetic shows i've ever been to

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2011 2:05 PM

the anti rolling stone rant was stupid in a sense of duh, rolling stone sucks? you must be kiddin, we did not know that!

and if i remember correctly that kid did not stage dive but was taken off stage thru the side door.

and last thing, no kilbasa comments??
common...

the kid most definitely stage dived... his foot landed on my head :)

Warsaw, what happened? Why does nobody play Warsaw anymore?

Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2011 2:56 PM

i don't know but they should. for a massive venue (i think 800 capacity), you can see/hear well from anywhere. the balcony rules and so does the beer. there's something sketchy going on there though, that's probably why they only have to put 10 shows on every year to make ends meet

We need a caption contest for that main photo.

"Hey, my grandson is stage diving!"

I love the faces Joe Jack Talcum is making in just about every picture. The best guy!

[edit] most of the kids in the crowd were too young to even know what magazines are!

looks like a fun show!

"there's something sketchy going on there though"

as in what?

The fact that it's not primarily a concert venue, but is in fact a functioning Polish community center that rents out the hall to concert promoters?

Sketchy: the venue seems to be run by polish crime elements. Skinhead-like security. Slow old shifty men working the bar. Also, be sure to ask Dinosaur Jr, the Raveonettes, Black Rebel motorcycle club and Phospherescence about their stolen gear. The reason there are hardly ever shows there is because the venue would let their thieve associates know where buses and vans would be parked after the gigs. There are always lots of stolen gear stories, but the bands playing this place always got hit. Sketchy.
