Andrew Bird's free Brooklyn show at the Prospect Park Bandshell is just a month away, and he makes a special appearance at Le Poisson Rouge even sooner, and now there are even more dates on the whistling violin player's schedule. Andrew has annnounced a solo Northeast October tour. The summer will be long gone by the time the shows get here, but tickets go on sale today for October shows at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House in Poughkeepsie (on sale at 11am), Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown (on sale at noon), and other places. All dates are listed below...

Wordless Music said they would be booking an Andrew Bird show this fall as well. You think we might get a solo show at the St. Paul Church?
