Producer, solo artist and just general musical genius Jon Brion will play a rare show at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC on October 2nd, 2011 (which is unfortunately the same date as ATP in NJ). Tickets are on sale.

Basically everyone who isn't attending/playing ATP will be at this concert, either onstage or in the audience.

SO SO BUMMED that this is during ATP. i guess it won't matter because i'm gonna be in heaven tomorrow where jon brion soundtracks the whole jump off.

At the wordless music show uptown. On the back of the brouchure, it says jon brion is playing another set at lpr on oct 3rd. So much for atp conflicts!

Wow! I've been lucky enough to see him at Tonic AND Canal, and if there is not a second date scheduled for this, I will be severely bummed.
If I have to, I will skip out early from ATP that Sunday to catch this. That's how incredible Jon Brion is live!
