Citizens Arrest

Not content with just a victory lap after their triumphant return late last year, Citizens Arrest is now back with a NEW batch of recordings! Check out "Open Wound" (streaming here for the first time) (below) and "Soaked In Others Blood" streaming below or available for download above from the band's latest EP of the same name. Get you copy now via Coextinction Recordings. For all of you cempletists out there, yes, Ted Leo lends his fretwork to the release.

Citizens Arrest have a few shows scheduled for the near future, including Maryland Deathfest, Chaos in Tejas, and Europa with Tragedy/Teargas/Night Birds. Tickets are still available for the Sunday show at MDF (with Citizens Arrest), their show at Chaos in Tejas (with Autopsy/Extortion), and Europa with Tragedy.

In related news, you can catch Daryl Kahan's other band Funebrarum at Maryland Deathfest too; they play on Friday (5/27). And Kahan's third band, Disma, is preparing to release their new LP Towards The Megalith on July 19th via Profound Lore. Check out "Spectral Domination" from that release above.

All tour dates, some video and that song stream is below.

Haters! Each & every one of you anonymous turds. Kudos for rocking the New Breed shirt Daryl!

@7:45... because clearly you're learning disabled... and that's not your fault.

Awful music for the fashion challenged. What would NYC hardcore bands do without all that bad metal distortion tone? Most fans of these tight-asses think that no "good" music has been made since the 90s', thus have given up on seeking out new bands or trying out different types of music.

Worst dancers ever. Don't believe the fairy tales, there ain't no heaven for the uncoordinated.

12:07, thank you so much for your ahistorical uninformed presumptuous pretentious pedantic and ignorant opinion. Those of us not destined for rapture want you to know that we won't hold it against you when you ascend to heaven, leaving us behind. You deserve it bro.

Hey bro...I'm sooo wasted...bro, bro, you there?

@12:07: Face it, no matter how you slice it, you're a creep. End of story. BTW the new CXA songs fucking rule.

Coextinction Recordings and Translator Audio rule - what an amazing roster of bands in this series recorded by such incredible engineers.

Not bad. At least no more "death" vocals this time. Those fit better with Taste Of Fear et al. All respect Darryl.
