you think they will add an NYC date after Mountain Jam?

Where do you think they will play in the big city? Gov Island? MSG?

you care if they will add an NYC date after Mountain Jam?

Where do you think they will play in the big city? J&R Friday Jams? Barbes?

Apparently the Best Buy on 62nd and Broadway has the vinyl in stock...and the coupon doesn't specify CD only...

Fuck Best Buy, Man!!!!!

My Snoring Jacket.

You guys are so clever

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 3:51 PM

Fact: MMJ are among the top 5 live rock and roll bands on planet earth.

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 3:54 PM

Who else is in that top 5?
For me it's:
1) Captain and Tennile
2) Nelson
3) The DeFranco Family
4) Nickelback
5) My Morning Jacket

OMG 3:54, you must be kidding, right? I mean to say that if you found BV you are not so completely out of touch with the human race, are you? Top 5 live rock an roll bands? Maybe top 5 at being able to take it deep without gagging or biting down ... yeah, I'll give you that. But actual music? I don't think so, my son.

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:14 PM

3:54, that's not saying much. "Live rock and roll bands" of MMJ's ilk are rare today.

Even though Circuital the track is seven minutes long I can't stop listening to it. Heard it on NPR's all songs considered and been obsessed with that song since. In the past I haven't really dug MMJ but I'm intrigued by the new album.

In an interview with the guitarist he said a NYC is being worked out, but it will likely be in the fall.

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:30 PM

this band is so cute!

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:34 PM

radiohead sucks donkey dick.

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:34 PM

awesome live band, but the new album is underwhelming

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:37 PM

I thought this band was on hiatus while the lead singer was a judge on some American Idol ripoff show.

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:39 PM

I like Yim Yames better. We need more of him.

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 4:41 PM

My Morning Coffee....... is all I need.

Not even trying to be clever or witty here.

"In an interview with the guitarist he said a NYC is being worked out, but it will likely be in the fall."

Just as long as it's not at Terminal 5 again. Whoo did those shows sound like a load of crap.

T5 >>> MMJ

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 5:14 PM

My Morning Hummus....... is all I need.

Not even trying to be clever or witty here either.

I'd do two nights at Summerstage if I was booking this band, but that's only what someone who has a sense of supply-demand regarding bands (which, can't always be said for Bowery Presents)

Posted by Anonymous | May 31, 2011 5:44 PM

It's a good record! Love it!

Posted by Burg | May 31, 2011 6:07 PM

Yes you are, 5:36. But it wasn't even remotely funny.

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY.

they do not care about music, and only sell it as a loss-leader. sell it for cheaper than they buy it, just to get you in the door and hope you buy a big-ticket item. best buy ruins music. please don't shop there. pretty disappointing to see brooklyn vegan advertising that. not cool.

"sell it for cheaper than they buy it, just to get you in the door and hope you buy a big-ticket item"

so buy it for cheap and don't buy a big ticket item.

KID CUDU / ALOE BLACC / DJ IRIE / TAMARA SKY playing TERMINAL 5 on JUNE 13 - event includes OPEN BACARDI BAR. tickets guarantee admission

Posted by Anonymous | June 1, 2011 12:23 PM

My God, I'm not the biggest MMJ fan but when you people shit on them it's just proof you're retarded.

Go listen to shit like Sleigh Bells and Best Coast and continue ruining music.

Posted by Anonymous | June 1, 2011 12:39 PM

I still don't think they can better anything before Z, but this is better than their last crappy album
