Peter Bjorn and John at Bowery Ballroom earlier this month more by Diana Wong)
Peter Bjorn and John

Peter Bjorn and John just finished up their tour with Bachelorette in support of the new album GImme Some. After hitting NYC three times on that trip, PB&J are back for more this fall on their All You Can Eat Tour.

This time the tour includes SIX NYC-area dates (seven if you count September 17 at Toad's Place): September 12 at Brooklyn Bowl, September 13 at Maxwell's, September 14 at Highline Ballroom, September 15 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, September 16 at Bowery Ballroom, and September 18 at Mercury Lounge. Tickets go on sale Thursday (5/26) at noon for Brooklyn Bowl, MHOW, Bowery Ballroom, and Mercury Lounge. Tickets are on sale now for the Maxwell's show. Highline Ballroom tickets aren't live yet, but maybe they'll be on sale Thursday too,

The All You Can Eat Tour is the band's longest US tour yet, but the amount of shows is much less than the number of cities. The tour kicks off in Chicago on August 24, but stays there for four shows. Toronto and LA also get a bunch of shows each. All dates are listed below...

^ Me either.

It'd be nice if there could be that many NYC-area shows for a band I actually like.

"...but the amount of shows is much less than the number of cities."

Don't you mean,
"...but the amount of shows is much more than the number of cities." OR
"...but the amount of cities is much less than the number of shows."

11:54: Not really a big fan of Radiohead, but I can get behind your post seeing how big Radiohead are. It's better than this or the Yo La Tengo crap that went on.

Posted by Anonymous | May 25, 2011 12:39 PM

did they really have to use that crap album artwork as a backdrop. zzzzzz
