Best Coast @ LPR
Best Coast, two day after opening for the Decemberists at Prospect Park, headlined the early Planned Parenthood benefit show at Le Poisson Rouge last night (6/16). Those Darlins, who also played multiple shows while in town, and who Bethany and Co expressed their love for from stage, opened the West Village show. There are so many reasons why I am uncool.
Today's reason: Just not digging the over-abundance of tattoos on people. A couple of clever, well-placed tats are fine, but the full arm thing just doesn't do it for me.
Like I said, I am sooooo not cool. My posts on this blog should totally be blocked.

Tattoos have become like Motorcycles for Attorneys on the weekend. People get a full sleeve tattoo and then go work for JPMorganChase, etc.
Weekend Warriors...no tattoos are the new alternative. ("You don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley!!!")
