one of the absolute worst live shows I've ever seen. They're tight enough (that's what she said) just really really boring (that's what she said). I was there just to impress a girl I had a crush on (thankfully it worked) because it was an hour of absolute hell.

This band sucks...so much.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 5:44 PM

CYSHY at the Bowery is something I have been hoping to happen (seriously). I think the show will rule.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 5:47 PM

@5:43 you're doing it wrong unless she's a lesbian or she's blasting you with a strap-on. Tight enough? But she probably did think you were boring if you felt the need to impress tools on here by suggesting you banged a girl with a more ironic mustache then you. My penis is huge. (That's what she said.)

5:50 stop being so personal. My moustache was way more ironic than hers. I was rocking a Franz Nicoli and her was due to bad breeding.

Are they posing in front of a cover of the Red House Painters' record?

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 5:55 PM

uhm i like this band and am excited about the show!

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 6:08 PM

Red House Painters cover was the Thunderbolt. That's the Cyclone.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 6:09 PM

psyched about this show and can't wait to hear the new record.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 6:41 PM

It's funny how fast time flies. The douche bag commenters here were probably in 5th grade when these cockslaves were en vogue. HA!

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 6:45 PM

no we were already old and crotchety 6:45. Time has only made our crotchety-ness against this crap even more real.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 6:46 PM

Um, why is this on BV? Terrible, just terrible.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 7:17 PM

Washed my hands, said meh.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 7:19 PM

oh man, and I bet these douche bag commenters here weren't even conceived when En Vogue was de rigueur.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 7:38 PM

Boring band, owes everything to the quirky nature of internet viral buzz.

Live show was sooooo boring.

Mr. Brownstone!!!

When I heard This Home on Ice playing in Virgin Megastore I was like omg WE WON

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 8:35 PM

The first LP was good

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 8:47 PM

the first LP was OK, but c'mon.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 9:00 PM

this band is poo

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 10:40 PM

oh look how cool and relevant they are at the cyclone.

/yawn

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 10:48 PM

First album is still a stone classic; second album half good. I'm definitely psyched to hear the new one.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 11:00 PM

Betchya Bowery sells out in less than 15 minutes easily.

Posted by Anonymous | June 7, 2011 11:02 PM

>5:50 stop being so personal. My moustache was way more ironic than hers. I was rocking a Franz Nicoli and her was due to bad breeding.

oh come on now. you were not rockin' to franz. he's a chump. you were getting your rocks off, and getting pinched, but j.d. sampson and her moustache.

BEST COMMENT ON BV SO FAR IN 2011.

hilarious!

8:35, won what? If we did actually win something we didn't keep the title for too long.

And when did Hank Azaria start fronting this band?

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 9:17 AM

Looks sorta like hank azaria, but not really. So only sorta funny.

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 9:55 AM

Interesting unknown fact, for a while they juggled the idea of calling themselves, Clap Your Hands Say, "Guy on the Right Has a Five Head."

"When I heard This Home on Ice playing in Virgin Megastore I was like omg WE WON"

Haaaaaaaa, best comment in the thread

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 11:28 AM

what's wrong with posing in front of the cyclone? maybe they just like rolly coasters.

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 11:32 AM

Clap Your Hands and Say Scalp! Tho Tom Vek will surely be the better onsale.

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 11:39 AM

so cute!

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 11:53 AM

It is not advisable to ride the cyclone after eating a hummus platter. I did that at siren fest a few years back and the girl sitting next to me was rather upset. Know what I mean?

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 3:26 PM

can't listen to their vocalist's voice, and can't stand the way too cutesy name

Posted by onceler | June 8, 2011 3:42 PM

THIS BAND IS WEAK!
