It's not even worth the effort anymore making fun of bros like the one above with the indian feather headdress and tank tops showing off their muscles. The jokes just aren't even funny anymore.

FUCK PLANET EARTH

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:41 AM

how is this relevant?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:42 AM

these bands and their slutty/meathead fans are complete jokes

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:46 AM

Like the Hummus photo!

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:47 AM

the hummus pics are proof that BV gives its fans what they want.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:54 AM

Yep I have to agree with 9:22. This is just boring now.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:58 AM

Neon Indian thinks he can play a Theremin, eh?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 9:59 AM

Haha clearly these people were not in attendances...best vibe I've felt at a festival in a very long time (most likely due to those on this board not being on the island) So thanks for not coming :)

This + Bon Iver Hype = Everything you need to know about the sad state of music today.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:06 AM

The look on that security guard's face in the last photo pretty much says it all. What the hell is wrong with white people? Please get me out of here.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:06 AM

I wish I didn't look at these pictures.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:19 AM

Is the guy in the first picture Neon Indian? Never pictured him that way...

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:22 AM

I'd rather see another set from Chaos in Tejas than another set from this show.

Thanks in advance!

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:31 AM

Love the Hummus pic, although I wish it was laced with cyanide!

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:32 AM

If you are Indian Chief "C", or were hanging out with the Chief, you are very hurting.

You can buy some lives at the concession stand.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:37 AM

Indian Chief "C" is actually the real life "Do you like my 7 1/2 inches?" guy. True story.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:39 AM

The Indian chief getup is offensive to Native Americans.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 10:41 AM

interesting that almost no one gave real feedback on the music. just hating on the pic & the crowd? i hate the headdress crap as much as the next person but i would rather not pay it any mind and focus on the music!

Posted by IsaNicole | June 20, 2011 10:48 AM

Wait, there was music?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:02 AM

10:48pm, if you have an issue with that, then express your criticism with BrooklynVegan's posting style and not the commentators. When BrooklynVegan sets up a post by introducing it with the most ridiculous picture available that has nothing to do with the music, it in turn defines the post to be more so about just that than the bands who played.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:05 AM

How was the show? Big Boi sounded fantastic at the 'roo.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:06 AM

I am more hipster than you

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:11 AM

No I am more hipster

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:17 AM

Shut the eff up. You think bc you are posting under an anonymous name you get to claim more hipster cred? "Oooooh. I am making a statement that I am anonymous and alone in the world." Eff that. I am more hipster!

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:23 AM

I thought Chief C and posse really made the show for everyone. No one really cares that they made the balloon stairway to heaven chain happen, provided free h2o to folks, saved a baby from a truck, and basically put smiles on people's face all day.

What I think is happening is some jabroni's pants are a littttttle too tight.

Posted by Muscle Guy | June 20, 2011 11:26 AM

Who allowed anonymous on this wall? She is not hipster

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:26 AM

11:11 = 11:17 = 11:23
kind of like bopping the bologna

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:28 AM

no way did jew fro PAY for those instruments.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 11:35 AM

yeah, please quit taking photos of native american appropriation, brooklyn vegan. if people quit seeing themselves as the cover image on music sites they might stop wearing racist attention-getting outfits that obstruct views at shows. (though we'll all stop clicking through to complain, so you probably won't stop. bummer, please prove me wrong!!)

Posted by ps | June 20, 2011 12:18 PM

and what's with the pervy bikini top shots, they are not even good

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 12:26 PM

"11:11 = 11:17 = 11:23"

Ahhhh, schizophrenia!

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 12:50 PM

Joey Belladonna called, he wants his head dress back.

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 1:16 PM

11:26 = Chief C

therefore 11:26, you are lame

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 1:48 PM

the show started off shit because half of the people in the crowd were just standing and looking pretty...honestly if you think you're too cool to rage at a concert, 1. don't go to the fucking concert or 2. don't stand in the front. If you want to look "hip" or get cred, that's fine but don't ruin the experience for other people because you have a stick up your butt.

seriously, I've never seen more deadpan people at a big boi set.

i really hope this was free

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 2:11 PM

$90?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2011 4:13 PM

you attended this fest, and expected it to "rage?" no crowd rages anymore.

here is tip you can take with you so you are not bummed out at live events for the next 10 years: you have crowds full of smartphones and stupidpeople
