Sean Agnew. Best promoter in the East Coast....if not the country:)

R5 forever!

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 10:54 AM

This isn't being run by Vice so I'm sure everyone will get in.

Capacity at this place is what....like 1000?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 10:55 AM

Cults singer was voted Prom Queen in High School.

You hipsters think she's cute?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 10:56 AM

I really want to go to this but I'm not sure if I can get out of work early from my $70k job. I just want to make it there to see Cults! I don't even know who Ceremony is, but we didn't discuss them at a recent brunchwave gathering in Park Slope over the weekend so I'm assuming they're nothing worth making the effort to see.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 10:57 AM

Lineup at 5 for doors at 7?!

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 10:57 AM

Lineup at 5 is for all trust fund kids with no jobs.....

Most people have to work.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 10:59 AM

this girl has split enz

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:00 AM

lineup at 5 is for high school kids. probably sucks for them usually in nyc as most shows are 18/21+ . these summer shows will be packed with kids. i'm going to go for the swing by between cults and health move and hope people leave and they're letting people in.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:02 AM

Who here is biggest??

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:02 AM

Why didn't Todd P get asked to Dj....

I thought he was like the king of Brooklyn punk shows....

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:02 AM

So if I want to see No Age I should show up after Cults finish, since everyone will leave after them, right?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:03 AM

Who's been to this place before?

How many people does it fit!?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:05 AM

Cults is horrible. I really don't get their hype. There's maybe one decent song on their album

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:06 AM

Without even listening to Cults music, I can tell they don't fit into playing with Ceremony Health and No Age....

am I right?

I bet they sound like Feist cover band...

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:06 AM

Went to the show here last weekend and I would put the capacity at prob just under 1000 or so

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:09 AM

I had been one of the first to RSVP - got the confirmation email that I RSVPed too - but I did not receive a followup email like the one featured in this article.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:12 AM

They should have left Cults off this lineup. Girls who look like the band's lead singer are going to get roughed up during Ceremony and I'm sure their wimpy boyfriends that are still on a Bon Iver kick won't even venture to stop it. It's time for these ladies to meet a group of REAL men.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:13 AM

Ew, how does Cults go from playing with these great bands to going on to play a full tour with Foster the People and a band named after the dinosaur cartoon from Rugrats?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:16 AM

way to be anti-skater VANS

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:26 AM

Just walked by the venue and there's already a line of brunchwavers in Cults-type clothes forming outside. I asked them how early they got there and they said they took the day off from the $70k salary jobs to line up after 11am.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:29 AM

i am eating my breakfast now and wonder where i can line up before 5pm? i don't have anything to do for that next couple of hours.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:30 AM

11:13am, because rubbing against sweaty shirtless bros is REALLY manly.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:49 AM

1149am loves bon iver.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:57 AM

shit is going to get fo real during Ceremony. You bird chested liberal arts types might want to hide over at Cookie Road during the set.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:02 PM

All ages. shitshow. no thanks.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:03 PM

@12:02 I'll probably just take my bird chested body and fuck the shit out of my girl with my 8.5" cock in her apartment nearby while they're playing. have fun getting man goo all over yourself and your average prick though...

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:11 PM

^you sound scared

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:15 PM

"@12:02 I'll probably just take my bird chested body and fuck the shit out of my girl with my 8.5" cock in her apartment nearby while they're playing. have fun getting man goo all over yourself and your average prick though..."

And then you woke up in the alley right by Christopher Street.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:17 PM

People really find the girl from Cults cute? There's something about her I can't get in to.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:22 PM

What exactly is the point of RSVPing to this if it doesn't guarentee entry?

Jerry: I don't understand, I made a reservation, do you have my reservation?

Agent: Yes, we do, unfortunately we ran out of cars.

Jerry: But the reservation keeps the car here. That's why you have the reservation.

Agent: I know why we have reservations.

Jerry: I don't think you do. If you did, I'd have a car. See, you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:36 PM

They serving dranks??

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 12:49 PM

11:12 - they probably examined you remotely with their tractor beam and determined that you are not hep enuff to attend.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:06 PM

it's a family name.
no, it's a fat girl's name.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:09 PM

the girl from cults has flabby arms. Some curls aren't going to kill you honey...

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:14 PM

Maybe she's busy singin, douche

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:16 PM

that guy from Fucked Up needs to do some curls too

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:17 PM

If the RSVPs don't matter, what's the deal with being put on a waiting list?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:19 PM

I expect a full damage report tomorrow. Wish I could be there to see all the hipsters running scared once Ceremony starts. Someone better film their set.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:21 PM

The RSVP is so they have your e-mail address.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:33 PM

I RSVPd and only have been getting VANS spam ever since and ads to buy the Cults album on iTunes.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 1:36 PM

Strike Anywhere @ santos tonight

Posted by brandonmetal | June 30, 2011 1:43 PM

CAN I DRINK BEER THERE?

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 3:23 PM

I wish more Warped Tour friendly bands would play these shows.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 3:25 PM

has anyone seen my Cunt Cap?

Posted by Paul Kostabi | June 30, 2011 3:32 PM

cults are the biggest joke of a band. that girl's singing voice sounds like a goose choking on a wiener

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 4:24 PM

WET....CUNT

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 5:12 PM

Easy to get in and free beer---fuck you bitches who dismissed this as a potential clusterfuck.

Posted by Anonymous | June 30, 2011 11:16 PM

Free Heineken Light, to be exact.

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2011 1:23 AM

Light beer is so punk rock.

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2011 7:46 AM

11:06am

It's the other way around. There's probably like one 'okay' song. The rest is good. It's a near flawless album, especially as a debut.

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2011 3:49 PM

3:49 - That's a bold statement. Why should I belive you? I don't think I've ever even heard a "near flawless" album. There are masterpieces and albums that will stand the test of time - but flawless? I call bullshit, sir or madame!

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2011 4:07 PM

House of Vans has a no re-try policy which is FUCKED. Don't rent a shitty warehouse and put on DIY shows and act like the bowery ballroom, dicks. You can keep your free beer, spare me the bullshit.
