Actually been to Citi Field once since it opened for Sir Paul two years ago.....

for baseball fans out there, which stadium do you like better and why?

I wonder if I should go see him at Yankees Stadium.....

Oh, everyone look. Sir Paul's back. Doesn't he look good? He's wearing makeup.

I built a little empire out of some crazy garbage
Called the blood of the exploited working class
But they've overcome their shyness
Now they're calling me Your Highness
And a world screams, "Kiss me, Sir Paul"

Yankee Stadium is better but the food at Citi Field is much, much better

This show will be almost identical to the Citi Field show a few years ago

"Yankee Stadium is better but the food at Citi Field is much, much better"

Agreed. I was at CitiField last week and I ordered a massive plate of chicken nachos (for myself! not realizing it was gonna be that big) and it was delicious, yet (understandably!) gut-busting.

If we are going to make a comparison of food at Citi Field -vs- Yankee Stadium, I feel this is the information BV readers need to know:
The hummus at Citi-Field is a tad dry and often sticks to the roof of your mouth but their Pita Triangles are fantastic and come in a convenient re-sealable baggie which can be taken home as a nice suvenier.
The hummus at Yankee Stadium is decent, but the dark tan color is very suspicious and they do not disclose the full ingredient list and many have suspected that some strange hybrid chickpea may be utilized.

have fun waiting for 3 hours in traffic going to and 3 hours leaving.

^obviously never been to the Yankee Stadium before going to a game is simple and concert will be too...at Citi Field took me 45 min max to and from the show back to Grand Central...

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2011 9:09 PM

I'm assuming you took the subway, no?

Posted by Anonymous | June 13, 2011 9:27 PM

Subway, 4,B,D. Or just take Metro North from Grand Central, it's like 15 minutes. Idiots...

Posted by Anonymous | June 14, 2011 9:57 AM

Yeah, I would think most people (well, New Yorkers) know that already.
