The band also recently released a new track, "Rising Sun," which you can listen to below and download at their website for either a $1, $3, or $5 donation to Japan relief. From The Album Leaf's site:
Japan has always had a special place in my heart. I have been touring in Japan since 2000. I have the fondest memories of the people and beauty of the country. I have always been amazed by the culture and courtesy of the people. We have been treated with the utmost respect from fans to the people we work with. My heart goes out to everyone that has been affected by this disaster. The new song, all tour dates, and videos of the band performing at Primavera in May, below...All proceeds for this song will go to Peace Winds Japan.Peace Winds Japan Peace Winds Japan is a non-governmental organization, based in Japan, dedicated to the support of people in distress throughout the world.
We are also working with Air Traffic Control to re-grant the funds generated by this song to Peace Winds Japan. Air Traffic Control is a non profit organization based in San Francisco, which exists to help musicians play an effective, unique and vital role in the promotion of social justice. www.atctower.net
