Genesis Breyer P-Orridge's band Thee Majesty played the BAM Cinema Cafe on 6/23 directly following the screening of the new documentary The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye and subsequent Q & A. The film, which details Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and Lady Jaye path through "Pandrogyne", was screened as part of BAMcinemaFest, a festival which also saw films with Gruff Rhys and Bobby Liebling (Pentagram) among others. Bill Pearis saw the Genesis film and reviewed it.
Genesis Breyer P-Orridge is scheduled to make an appearance this weekend at the previously discussed Licker License event at Secret Project Robot on July 2nd, "a girl-on-girl, video and performance event". Genesis will be one of a few providing video art for the evening. Flyer is below.
More pictures from BAM , alongside a video of "I Love Being Here" from the performance, also below...

If you're asking a question you should use a question mark. I for one miss the old Genesis.

The old Genesis. Ah, when Peter Gabriel used to wear those wacky costumes and sing in affected voices. Memories.

This is the second time you got a false click from me by mentioning "Genesis."
Please either write Genesis P-orridge, P-orridge, GPO, or G P-O. You can even say "scary weird dude who needs counseling to stop himself from turning into his dead wife which is really gnarly."
I am only interested in Genesis documentaries which feature Tony Banks. Tony Banks is a really great keyboard player and does not have fake breasts.

I'm in love with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. She's the kitten's whiskers.
Who the hell is this other "Genesis"?

Every mention of Genesis as a "she" makes me throw up a little out of my butt.

Janeane Garofalo has really let herself go.

Too bad you didn't buy a butt plug at her sale a while back. I did and I don't throw up out of my butt anymore.

I agree with the 3:55PM guy. Bring on Tony Banks and his amazing REAL breasts.
