Any guess on the Okkervil River set times tonight? My guess:
8/8:15 Future Embrace
9ish Titus A
10ish Okkervil River

I thought maybe Future Islands or whatever they're called would be going on a touch earlier, like 7:30ish? I know usually no one plays until an hour after doors but I feel like T5 usually gets things underway pretty quickly when there are several bands playing. Plus even a shorter Titus set will probably be more like 45 minutes than 30, right?

I'm thinking:

7:30ish opening opener

8:30ish Titus

10ish Okkervil River

Based on not much, though.

"anthony and the weiners play brooklyn"

I don't think that he's relishing those comments now ... I'm sure that his wife of a few months is being pretty chilli to him too ....

Just call the venue if its that much of an issue.

^ Yeah, but I feel like there should be a "Set Times Game" to play around here. Whoever guesses the correct set times (or whoever's closest - or if it's a tie, whoever was first) wins a weeks supply of clam chowdah'!

Again, true for the second day. Too bad I can't make this one, so I'm glad I caught last night's.

Yeah cause the Melvins never play small venues in NYC ever. Not like once or twice every year. Yeah that's it.
Fucking morons. Yes the Melvins are great but these shows are nothing special. I have heard most of these songs played live by them over the years.

titus barely pushed a half an hour. no okkervil encore.

^ Yeah, wtf was that? T5 has an 11:00 curfew? More reasons to hate that shithole.

Good for you. What was the point of blowing your hot air here anyway?

@ 921am. t5 has no curfews....lcd, foals, nin all played past 11pm.

it depends on the band. if they don't want to pay fines for playing past 11, they can. i guess okkervil wanted to only play 90 mins for you guys last night.

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 10:44 AM

Okkervil sounded tight, but the crowd was WAY flat.

Posted by Anonymous | June 8, 2011 12:06 PM

blame the venue for shitty band attitude .... you have no idea how much of a douche you have just proven yourself to be
