Jack White & Stephen Colbert are at the High Line this afternoon.

Check out This Week In Indie.

It's a big night for big outdoor shows, though the shows at Williamsburg Waterfront and Central Park Summerstage both cost money. Reggie Watts in Red Hook Park, the jazz show in Prospect Park, and Sean Lennon's band at South Street Seaport are all free.

The Bicycle Film Festival continues.

Head to the Fulton Stall Market on Sunday for a free show by My Teenage Stride.

Meanwhile head to South Street Seaport tonight for the first free concert of the season there.

Dead On (A Note For Note Recreation Of The Grateful Dead's American Beauty & Workingman's Dead) @ Best Buy Theater is cancelled.

My Morning Jacket was on Conan. The Antlers were on Leno. Both videos below..

The Kills made a video for "Future Starts Slow." Check it out below.

I'm going to stay home and think about what a good time I had at Dinosaur Jr last night. I will have a better time recollecting than 90% of you all will have at a live show (except for those seeing Fucked Up or the Philly Dino show)

Posted by Anonymous | June 24, 2011 2:27 PM

White Hills are doing a free show at Permanent Records in Greenpoint tonight at 7pm. Should be good!

Posted by Anonymous | June 24, 2011 2:41 PM

2:27, how was the dinosaur jr show last night?

Posted by Anonymous | June 24, 2011 2:46 PM

2:46 - Epic, really. Wait for the pics and stuff, which I hope are forthcoming.

Posted by Anonymous | June 24, 2011 3:01 PM

Really wish the Youssou N'Dour show was anywhere but Terminal 5.

Posted by J | June 24, 2011 3:59 PM

^Tell me about it. Terminal 5 is the worst venue ever. I'm really amazed no one ever mentions that on BV.

I've been meaning to see Mark Sultan for about four years now. Might as well be tonight.

The Strange Boys bill is sick except that I saw them last Saturday.
