Brasil Summerfest, a week of NYC concerts, many free, starts today (7/24). Participating venues are Central Park Summerstage, City Winery, Bowery Electric, Nublu, Drom, and SOB's. Browse the festival's website for more info on the shows and artists.
The City Winery show is actually this week's free outdoor edition Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival. Local band Forro in the Dark is on the bill.
