jesus, just start watching professional wrestling and get it over with hicks. Embrace your hillbilly nature and stop pretending you care about music...

oh come on...hicks? meh...where is the 7 1/2 inches guy or the hummus people when you need them? now that shit is funny.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:24 PM

that dude does look semi-retarded

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:25 PM

Does he have a hapsburg chin or is it a lens distortion issue?

Posted by that man's jaw | July 18, 2011 1:26 PM

no you are both correct. dwid is, in fact, retarded. hapsburg chin is fucking lolz! good call 1:25!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:26 PM

what a bizarre looking human being. you don't see a lot of 40 years olds going with that haircut.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:27 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if that guy is a registered sex offender.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:31 PM

New London, CT?

We're sophisticated Brooklynites, not retarded hicks or sexually frustrated suburban HC kids. Fuck out of here with this shit.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:36 PM

It's hilarious when people pretend to know something about a band/scene and don't, thereby making themselves look like complete asses.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:45 PM

I doubt there will be an Integrity show in NYC any time soon...

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:47 PM

Hey 1:36, if you consider the history of the band in NYHC scene (and their current enemies), this is significant that they are playing so "close" to NYC.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:47 PM

1:47 I like music, not interested in whatever quasi-gang warfare scene the the frustrated suburban adolescent males of America have come up with.

their 'enemies'...god I hate this whole knuckle dragger scene

I'll go back to my Thelonius Monk record now.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 1:52 PM

this looks like a gay pride day event.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:06 PM

@ 1:52 what thelonius monk record?

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:29 PM

wow, dwid packed on some pounds!

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:31 PM

*1:52 quickly goes to wikipedia to find the "best" Thelonious Monk album*

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:33 PM

@2:06 -the expert would know.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:42 PM

one life crew and odd future tour 2012.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:46 PM

Can't say I'm too surprised at the comments here, unfortunately.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:53 PM

2:53 yeah because this is such a complex and intellectual band. You can tell by the way that they've been around forever and their audience is still angry (and very very stupid) teenagers.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 2:57 PM

dwid is actually a weirdo (and somewhat of a known liar) that dabbles in ideologies of the process church of the final judgment (and maybe even nazi mysticism? i dunno). hence all the manson imagery and whatnot. hes basically a kook and a bit of schizo but his band used to make some pretty decent metallic hardcore back in the day. knuckle draggers or not, "humanity is the devil" is one heavy album. if that's your thing that is.

also, "integrity" will never play nyc.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:12 PM

why can't Integrity play in NYC? What's the story behind that?

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:16 PM

Dwid and crew are not allowed in NYC. Seriously, they would get the beating of their lives if they played a club here. That is the truth.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:18 PM

3:18 ok, but why? What happened?

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:19 PM

"You're the king ... I'm just a little bitch....You're the king"...

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:22 PM

2:57: Find the thrill in commenting something that isn't completely predictable. Like HIV indies.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:30 PM

In the 90s, I saw Integrity and OLC in their hometown of Cleveland. A huge fight broke out and tons of police were called in after a NJ dude flipped OLC off for making anti-immigration comments. As we were leaving the show, the street signs around the neighborhood were spray painted with "Clevo Stay Out of NYC." I started smoking pot and listening to Stereolab shortly after.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:30 PM

3:30 hah, good call

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:33 PM

so a decade+ later this is why Integrity can't play NYC? Sounds like sensationalism.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:43 PM

dwid has had run ins with the guys from madball, h2o, dms from what i hear. that's probably why they're not welcome in nyc.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:44 PM

google has provided the answer. Thanks all you 'in the know' Integrity fans :(

Haha, I love that a man named "Chubby Fresh" is a primary player. Gotta love hardcore because ultimately retards are funny....

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:51 PM

I'm just more surprised that the El N Gee is back.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 3:57 PM

2:57- Actually many of the lyrics of Integrity are quite intellectual and their music is far from targeted towards teens. Idiotic things that they have done (and paid for) aside, they are pretty well respected musically. Really, if you don't know what you are talking about, don't make an ass out of yourself and post.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 4:06 PM

3:12- there is not a shred of "nazi mysticism" in Integrity's work.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 4:07 PM

this "ezec" is apparently the real-life "Epstein" from Welcome Back Kotter. Knocks people out!

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 4:25 PM

More like .... knocks alot of niggas out. Seen that dude skank, smack a skinhead in the face, dude drops, kicks him in the face, then continue skanking to the song. All while holding a full drink.

Funny dude, likes to trip alot.

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 4:35 PM

did someone say sausage?

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 4:40 PM

Good to see BV covering these important "artists"

Posted by Anonymous | July 18, 2011 4:41 PM

Important since they don't play NYC. Funny that the story i hear is a little different from the above link...although it still includes most of the names discussed. either way i would still like to see them play. Humanity is the Devil, Systems Overload and Seasons in the size of days are all killer records for anyone into metallic hardcore. COT was pretty solid back in the day...trainyard blues is a great ep.

Posted by deathcomescreeping | July 18, 2011 5:52 PM

All these haters, hating because their band's don't do so hot, and there's nothing better to do.

Posted by Lucas Lee | July 19, 2011 10:24 PM

I just hope CT is of for them to play!
Been a fan forever and saw INTEG live.

Posted by Anonymous | July 20, 2011 12:31 AM

I heard PALE CREATION is playing this show, can anyone confirm/deny?

Posted by Anonymous | July 22, 2011 8:35 PM

Anyone? I'd kill for a chance to see PALE CREATION and INTEGRITY on the same bill!

Posted by Anonymous | July 24, 2011 11:45 AM

Who else is playing and where can I find more info on this show?
