She must have had to sing very slowly when they made this. I'd rather watch that version.

Wait a minute. By the photo and video, does this mean I have to attend a party at a hipster pad in Wil-lame-sburg in order to see this band?

Her grandfather wrote Little Drummer Boy and her grandmother was a singer for Benny Goodman. Music is in her blood.

Wikipedia says "The Little Drummer Boy," originally known as "Carol of the Drum," is a popular Christmas song written by the American classical music composer/teacher Katherine K. Davis in 1941. Soo?

I liked this better when it was the I Wanna Be Sedated video.

"The words and music to the Christmas song Little Drummer Boy was composed by Katherine K. Davis, Henry Onorati and Harry Simeone in 1958." and the video rules!

great song, great video

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 9:15 AM

lol at 6:49. why arent they wearing neon some type of ironic t-shirt, right?

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 9:35 AM

I'm cute, so I can have a record deal, right? I don't need, like, actual talent or anything, right? Cuz I'm cute.

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 10:21 AM

she was in bomb the music industry. her voice is fucking incredible. she got a record deal cause she deserved it. the band is incredibly unpretentious, though it sort of looks like that from the video. dont judge, bitches

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 10:33 AM

no talent? yeah, its not like she doesnt write amazing songs and have a great voice or anything. youre probably just mad she isnt making tape loops and singing in a robot voice or something.

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 10:44 AM

they were the secret guest at the Bomb The Music Industry benefit for Silent Barn the other night too. played a set of tom petty covers and were fantastic.

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 12:20 PM

10:44

how cute, you have a crush

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 3:58 PM

more from this band please

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 4:24 PM

The most amusing part about this band is that half of her fans are dudes who like terrible "ska" music (Bomb the Music Industry) and desperately want to bang her. I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising that fans of one band with a lead singer who can't sing are attracted to another band with a lead singer that can't sing.

Posted by Barry H | July 29, 2011 4:42 PM

you know, you keep saying she has a great voice, but you realize we can hear her too, right? theres a video right there. have you had your hearing checked recently?

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 8:25 PM

"ska"

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 8:40 PM

ska for skanks

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 9:26 PM

4:42 are you saying that male hormones interfere with musical taste? Really, right here on BV?

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2011 9:48 PM

Would love to see more from this band. She's awesome. Also, I'm not a ska fan. Also, I don't think most people even associate her/them with Bomb the Music Industry anymore. They're doing their own thing.

I just dropped a healthy one in the terlet. Hot and stinky.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2011 11:02 AM

You complainers entertain me

Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2011 11:36 AM

bomb the music industry is the fucking worst. this is nothing like it and 100 times better.

Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2011 11:22 PM

interesting...very

Posted by salesjobs | August 1, 2011 4:39 AM
