Not only is he from Boston, this guy is also washed up

MTV one hit wonder

The only person psyched about this show is my friend Ray

enough with the early 90's nostalgia acts performing these albums. who cares? this was not a seminal period in music history. pathetic!

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 8:25 AM

8:25

Yeah, the 90s didn't produce any great music. The Ot's were clearly more memorable.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 8:41 AM

Anyone knows the ID Fest $20 for 20 hours password??

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 9:30 AM

8:25 so don't go.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 9:39 AM

The 90's had great music.. but I don't count the Lemonheads. They were an overrated band who were popular at the time because the lead singer was good looking.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 9:56 AM

Lemonheads were not the cream of the crop of the 90s, but they are still better than the large majority of the over-hyped, fly-by-night wolf/cave/crystal/deer bands that are being force-fed to us everyday by hoity-toity music blogs such as this one.

The Lemonheads rock!

Posted by Mesothelioma Lawyer | July 13, 2011 10:08 AM

Lol, this is becoming the music blog version of obnoxious Yankee fans.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 10:14 AM

how dare anyone speak ill of the alternahunk...

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 10:14 AM

I thought this guy was supposed to die of a drug overdose. Stupid '90s slackers never follow through on anything.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 10:33 AM

10:33 hahahahaa

yeah this band pretty much sucks.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 10:45 AM

Better than 00's-10's slackers who... yeah, you see where I'm going with this :)

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 11:01 AM

10:01. Amen. Don't forget Bear bands too.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 11:04 AM

The only thing I find curious about this is that The Lemonheads just did a "Ray" show in NYC a few years ago. I was there - it was in March of 2008. I'm sure this will sell just fine, but that's kinda odd.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 11:20 AM

I want a Car Button Cloth show!

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 11:23 AM

I'm waiting for Republica.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 11:40 AM

^ That's the band whose name was escaping me! Also, Elastica!

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 12:01 PM

its not a reunion if its only the singer in the band

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 12:30 PM

NOTHING is more obnoxious than Yankee Fan

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 1:05 PM

Well, there is ONE thing more obnoxious. Beatle fans. I'm not talking about most regular fans. But the ones who actually get angry and talk down to you if you say anything remotely negative about them (such as "I don't really care for them").

Some people think the lemonheads were overrated due to the hunkiness factor of Evan Dando. However, that's the exact reason why they were totally underrated. People were so quick to dismiss them. Lemonheads weren't groundbreaking, but they were a pretty goddam solid band with some truly outstanding tunes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 1:14 PM

I like them, and don't care what anonymous comments on the internet say. Fun band to see live. If you like fun rock, check them out, you might enjoy yourself, then again, you might not.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 1:20 PM

if you don't appreciate the beatles, you deserve to get spoken down to.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 1:20 PM

looks like he is back on h

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 2:05 PM

"if you don't appreciate the beatles, you deserve to get spoken down to."

I respect them, but can't say I'm too fond of their music (I know I'm in the minority). I don't deny the obvious impact they've had all around.

This type of a response is never deserving of condescension.

I love the Beatles, but fuck with the Beatles worship already. At my family's Thanksgiving events, you could talk smack about baseball players, the president, God, but you better not talk smack about any of the Beatles. So bourgeois. I once told my uncle I though that Yoko should have done the right thing and taken the bullet for John, and he refused to talk to me the entire rest of the day.

So, fuck you with the Beatles bullshit. Great music, yeah, but they were just white trash fucks from a backwater city in east England that made some good records, that all.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 2:46 PM

^^correct that, western England

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 3:10 PM

It's a shame about James Earl Ray, more like.

Posted by Crosseyed Sniper | July 13, 2011 3:12 PM

Thank you, 2:46. I like the Beatles too. But damned if they aren't the most overrated band in music history.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 4:46 PM

guys it's okay, now i know that you're musically ignorant. no harm, no foul.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 5:15 PM

Right, because we're not heaping endless praise on this band, we're musically ignorant. Get a grip.

Posted by Anonymous | July 13, 2011 5:28 PM

For the record, once again I love the Beatles. The music is timeless. So is Sinatra, and Miles. I just think that they are human, like Frank and Miles. And I don't worship any of them. They did a job, and did it well. Good job; here's your cookie.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that the lemonheads show in little rock has changed venues to The Rev Room. I would appreciate if you could change the information and offer this link to rsvp to the event. This is the only way we are letting people in.

Best,

Andrew

If I make it a formaggi today,
I'll know tomorrow not to leave let basil wilt and decay.
I'll put the pepper back in place.
I've never been too good with spegetts,
but I remember slices

It's a shame about Ray's Pizza.
In the brick oven, under the mozz,
his pepperoni's still hanging there.
Some things need to go away.
It's a shame about Ray's Pizza.
