Yes, that's really something to worry about. In this day in age, worrying about a bands energy really is paramount.

i was at the show, and I have to say although they aren't the perfect live band yet, they were MUCH better than they were at the knitting factory last november
i would like to see a live drummer too, even though it would most likely compromise the feel of the songs

Things I worry about: Global Warming. Bee death. Hurricanes. Clowns. Alien invasions. Zombie outbreaks. A Sarah Palin Presidency. Whether or not The Radio Dept. has good live energy.

takes more than a drummer to save this band...

They were so boring, I left after 2 songs.

We left after 2 songs and went to Johnny Rockets and tried to put 5ยข in the jukebox to play Brown-eyed Girl.

I loved their last album and thought their performance at the seaport sounded good, but they had absolutely zero stage presence or personality.

I don't think the Radio Dept cares if they look like they have "personalities" or that they have a drummer live for more energy.... Give the albums a closer listen... only the first album was recorded with a drummer. And which song have you heard that you can fist pump or rage to? This is a mellow band to say the least....
