Mazes...

"When you think Manchester, England you may think Stone Roses and The Smiths, but in the case of Mazes, it's more Sebadoh and Soul Asylum. Not unlike Yuck, this trio owe lots to '90s indie rock as can be heard on their debut album A Thousand Heys which came out in April." [Bill]

Dom Kennedy, who appears on Curren$y's album Pilot Talk II and who released a new album called II - From the Westside, With Love, plays SOB's tonight. Curren$y also just released a new album, called Weekend at Burnie's, and you can watch the new video for "Still" from that one, below...

There's a hipster parody viral video shoot happening at Europa tonight between 6 and 8pm. RSVP at Vans.com and you might get into the free after-show with Passion Pit, Cults, James Murphy DJ Set and Bad Brains.

Hipster parody viral videos are Williamsburg's biggest export.

Thanks 1116pm aka vans employer but we at Brooklynvegan are much smarter than you folks.

Sorry we don't fall for James Murphy crap anymore....we've moved on.

Same with Cults and Passion Pit. It might be your cup of tea but highly educated individual like myself would never listen to what Pitchfork says. Instead, I enjoy Aphex Twin, Sonic Youth, and Flying Lotus instead.

Hey everyone, I just moved here to Bushwick over the weekend and am glad to be a part of the hipster community! I was wondering if there's any hipster parties or good hangouts going down this afternoon. If you need me, I'm going to get my favorite Mates of State lyrics tatted on my clavicle. HIPSTERS UNITE!

What is the point of this? It's not funny...I honestly cannot understand what possesses a person to type this out.
