is Superchunck a good listen? never gave them a chance.

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2011 9:46 AM

I ate some spoiled hummus once and made my own Superchunks. That was most definitely not a good listen, not was it fun.

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2011 10:03 AM

Great set by Patti Smith, then taxi'd up to the Pier, caught the last four Tuneyards songs and all of the fireworks, WOW!! What the hell was that all about?? Awesome night!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2011 10:38 AM

Yeah, I remember Superchunk! They were that band that had the video of the freakish puppets playing their instruments. Beavis and Butthead watched saw the video too!

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2011 10:55 AM

10:38 The fireworks were for Bastille Day. It was just an amazing coincidence that it was exactly as the tUnE-yArDs show was over. Fantastic show.

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2011 11:18 AM

It's so good that we celebrate Bastille Day here in New York. Are we still calling them "freedom fries" too, and banning the import of champagne?

Posted by Anonymous | July 15, 2011 12:36 PM

GWB isn't Pres anymore, so certainly not.

Since when did we ban cham-pag-nee?
