Wilco 7" on pre-order, Summerstage tix going on sale

The above is a screenshot of the Wilco store where you can pre-order the "I Might b/w I Love My Label" 7" in various varieties. "I Might" is the first single from Wilco's new album The Whole Love which they'll be touring behind in September. Tickets go on sale at noon for the Central Park Summerstage show.

Brooklyn Bowl lol. That place is for hipsters who wants to go hang out with their buddies. It's not a real venue.

Wilco there would be terrible.

Wilco @ MHOW/Bowery/Warsaw/Irving Plaza would make more sense...

You'll be able to get tickets at face value from people on Craigslist close to the date or outside the venue day of show. At their last area date at the Wellmont, there were tins of people selling outside the venue.

Yeah I think LCD being the last gig ever and having posters up all over the city really put the thing over the top for the scalpers. We like to think that putting something on BV is going to alert everyone, but really, how many scalpers are going to get tickets? For them this is just another show at summerstage. LCD announced their show in flashing lights all over the city PLEASE SCALP THIS TICKET and then were surprised when it happened. And yes, I'm still pissed I didn't get a ticket.
