this was a band that just did not have the spark they used to. the old songs sounded slow and languid and the new stuff just didn't measure up. Were these new songs the same as from the original "scrapped" 3rd album - or or were they all new?

god ... so many people hate on these guys. I'm pulling for them to put out a great record. Alec Ounsworth is capable of writing great songs. I hope this new joint is a return to form
