Lots of good options tonight. Europa will host Toxic Holocaust/Holy Grail/Krum Bums/Salo (tickets) with a FREE afterparty with Windhand/Belus at Acheron (doors at 6 and 10 respectively). Dry Rot will team with Soul Swallower, Hoax, Blind Dead, and Brain Slug at Stolen Sleeves, and finally, Sete Star Sept, Penis Geyser, The Communion, Radiation Blackbody will hit The Charleston. After tonight, pickins get a little slimmer for the next week or two, heating back up for the fall.
Soul Swallower‘s appearance at Stolen Sleeves is a rare one. The members of Mind Eraser (who are on hiatus) are celebrating the release of their new Devoured LP via Painkiller Records. Check out “Greed & Disgust” available above.
Both Hull and The Atlas Moth have new songs streaming at Pitchfork. Not coincdentally, Brandon Stosuy recently started working at Pitchfork again.
