Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 9:56 AM

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:03 AM

Fuck yeah, floor tickets to Foo Fighters!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:04 AM

New seating chart for MSG is wacky...why would they build a balcony seating section behind the stage?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:07 AM

yea i got floor tix to foo fighters. they're on stubhub if you want em.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:07 AM

No more pre-sale tix.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:14 AM

beyonce fan presales are using unique ticket codes, so there is no general presale password that everyone can use

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:19 AM

Beyonce isn't a presale, just general sale.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:20 AM

test

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:20 AM

beyonce is a presale, look at ticketmaster idiota. 'beyonce fan presale' starts one hour before general onsale.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:23 AM

Beyonce presale PWs are unique for each email address on the fansite sub list, so they can't be used by more than one person.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:23 AM

Do people actually listen to The Kooks?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:26 AM

@10:20AM do you frequently state falsehoods as though they are facts? or is it just a bad wednesday?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:28 AM

I listen to the Kooks!

I also got a GA Foo Fighters ticket!

I'm going to buy Beyonce tickets and scalp the fuck out of them!

I rule!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:31 AM

Beyonce tickets will tank on ebay mark my word...wonder if they will be will-call only too!

yea tank as in no one gives a shit! god what has bv become to.....

it was much better than each post had about 3-4 comments 6 years ago.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:37 AM

Wow...everyone freaking out about Beyonce and Foo Fighters tickets. The landscape here at BV is ever-changing.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:38 AM

@1033 You're gonna eat those words.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:40 AM

US $99.00
US $99.00 Ticket + US $17.00 Fees =
US $116.00

lol. yea good luck selling $116 tix.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:41 AM

@1041 No luck necessary. And thank you for the lesson in addition. This is like selling GA floor tickets to Lady Gaga that were $100 face value. If you think you can't resell them, you're just kidding yourself.

The whole reason they price them at $100 in the first place is because they know the resale value is roughly $200; they are trying to earn the money that they know scalpers would earn if they priced them lower than $100. Same reason why Watch the Throne was $150+ per ticket, and now it's all sold out and reselling for double on Stubhub/eBay.

Beyonce's management is just trying to find the middle ground between tickets that are too inexpensive ($50) and the true resale value ($200) because selling at true resale value would make Beyonce's mgmt look like asses. Hence the $116 price tag.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:47 AM

Beyonce pre-sale tickets are only for Citibank cardholders. So the password will have something to do with your card number. It's not a general word or anything.

And an hour later general tickets go on sale.

Stop getting all y'all's panties in a bunch!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 10:47 AM

@1047 THERE IS A BEYONCE FAN CLUB PRESALE IDIOT, LOOK ON TICKETMASTER

Lady Gaga tickets went under face because she oversaturated the market...only the best seats in the house went over face.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:00 AM

I love everyone on here saying there is no Beyonce fan club presale, acting like they actually know what they're talking about. Get informed or shut up; don't state complete lies as though they are fact when you really just have no idea what is going on.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:00 AM

@1100 by 'best lady gaga seats in the house' do you happen to mean the GENERAL ADMISSION tickets? aka EVERY TICKET AT THE BEYONCE SHOW?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:01 AM

Also at $116 when you add ebay or stub hub fees, listing fees and pay pal you gotta clear $140 a ticket to make a buck...

Posted by C | August 10, 2011 11:02 AM

11:00am: I bought Lady Gaga tickets for $100 each and sold them for $275 each without the slightest bit of effort. NJ shows re-sell for under face, but a proper NYC show rarely does. None of her MSG shows re-sold for under face.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:02 AM

1101 very different situation..

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:05 AM

C: $200 (resale value) - $140 (cost including fees) = $60 profit per ticket, yes? 60x2 (2 tickets per show) x 4 (4 shows) = $480 total profit.

$480 seems pretty good for ~15 minutes of work.

Watch this be will call only! I am going to laugh!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:06 AM

C: $80 resale value-116 cost + ebay fees= x 2 tickets 4 shows... I have you at about $400 loss.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:08 AM

beyonce suckz

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:08 AM

Dude if you want to make $400 in 15 minutes play the market lots of violitility! Can make thousands in minutes.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:10 AM

Ha ha...keep in mind she is playing her new album in its entierty live that will lower the value of the tickets!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:13 AM

Maybe you guys should have just joined the fucking Beyonce fan club to get the password instead of crying about it on BrooklynVegan an hour before they go on sale.

Assholes.

Posted by Matt | August 10, 2011 11:24 AM

And I'm sure there will be some sort of strict will call policy since the first show is in 4 days, so re-selling might be kind of tough, for all you douchey opportunists.

Posted by Matt | August 10, 2011 11:25 AM

i'm surprised every comment on this thread isn't about how horrible "corporate" music is. where's the hate for foo and beyonce? you people love to rip on stuff like this.

huh. times, they are a changing?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:31 AM

I love how everyone on here thinks they are professional scalpers. It's almost as funny as when people with no audio experience claim that venues have "bad sound".

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:32 AM

i would see beyonce for USD 50

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:32 AM

these tools thinking they're going to make $$$ are fat ass 40 yr old man with no wife/kids....just sits around his computer and reads bv comments all day.

yes it will be will call and i hope whoever buys your extra punches you in the face after you let them in.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:36 AM

I love everyone saying 'it WILL be will-call' as though they know for sure. 5 minutes till the truth.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 11:55 AM

Really disappointed in these comments...you're all a bunch of sell outs

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:00 PM

not only is it ticketfast, but my beyonce fan club presale password worked - 2 tickets for sunday's show. SUCK MY DICK YALL

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:01 PM

ha ha tickets are $169.50 Mezz is $116! As I said you will lose on this!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:03 PM

@12:03 got two floor tickets for $230 total, don't know what you're talking about

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:04 PM

there are two price levels for this show $169.50 and $116...

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:05 PM

Everyone who said 'will-call only' can suck my scalp profits.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:08 PM

^Live and learn..

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:08 PM

Hard Tickets are worth more than ticketfast..if you don't think people are leary buying ticketfast then you don't deserve to play the game.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:09 PM

password?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:09 PM

first 6 numbers of your citi card

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:10 PM

first 6 digits of your citi card

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:10 PM

Ticketfast is sometimes preferable for StubHub because it's faster and I assume it's guaranteed by StubHub.

Craigslist is another story, of course. I'd never buy printouts unless the person was walking in with me.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:16 PM

is someone taking the mehst, the mehst, the mehst, the mehst of you?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:19 PM

^^^StubHub never does that dude. They say if you get a fake ticketfast you can call them and they will try to replace it but good luck with that when you are already at the show. You get your money back but no show.

Like someone said, these amateur bullshit scalpers on here are usually lying trolls or even worse morons who don't know how to play the game. You won't make shit on this show.

And to the ones crowing "suck my dick". Laughing so hard at you losers. It is fucking Beyonce running through her new record at one of the worst sounding venues in the city.

Yeah we are all so fucking jealous.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:22 PM

Atoms for Peace @ Roseland was special.....

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:28 PM

Grizly Bear is opening right?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:28 PM

Grizzly Bear....two ZZs buddy

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:30 PM

^soooory I didn't get enough zz's last night

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:31 PM

12:22 - she's playing her new record start to finish, and THEN playing a separate set of her greatest hits. it says so on her website/anywhere that talks about this concert.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:33 PM

There is NO question that you can easily profit off these shows. She's playing 4 NYC shows - no other shows anywhere in the country. Beyonce fans will travel for this show. People on twitter are talkign about booking airplane flights for these shows. The supply does not NEARLY cover the demand. Let's all just shut up and we can quote the StubHub prices around 7pm once the dust settles.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:36 PM

you following this on twitter why?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:37 PM

I was following on Twitter because I was searching Twitter for the beyonce presale password (which I found and then used to get 2 tickets at 12pm). Anymore smart ass questions?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:38 PM

^you wont be a smart ass when you lose money on these tickets!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:41 PM

I heard Dave Grohl is a really bad tipper.

Posted by BobDope | August 10, 2011 12:41 PM

wow...the comments section of BV has really gone down hill

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:43 PM

12:41 why don't you give me your e-mail address. that way, i can send you a statement outlining my profits.

i have literally never lost money buying/selling tickets. and i have been doing this for more than five years.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:44 PM

"she's playing her new record start to finish, and THEN playing a separate set of her greatest hits. it says so on her website/anywhere that talks about this concert."

Oh no you don't say. Lol, still don't give a shit you fucking loser. Why are you even reading a blog like this? Just stick to seeing Justin Bieber at MSG and thinking it was the show of the decade.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:48 PM

Ha Mondays stub hub show is at $145 a ticket and falling already...

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:51 PM

12:48 Continue to make assumptions. What was the best concert you went to last year? I was probably there.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:51 PM

12:44...wow 5 years..I have been doing this for 13 years...I wouldn't touch this show with a 10 ft pole. 1) show is too soon, 2) too many people are scalping this, 3) tickets are expensive.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:52 PM

Now $143.90...dropping...

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:54 PM

Tickets are down to $143 for sunday night. and dropping.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:54 PM

Now all shows are dropping..I am going to guess $80 a ticket by Sat night.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:55 PM

12:52 1) a week is a lot of time to sell 8 tickets, 2) wrong, 3) big risks = big rewards. see you on the other side.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:55 PM

^I hope you are right for your sake. It will hurt if you are wrong.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:56 PM

Ouch sub $130 now on Sunday!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:57 PM

I might be right on the scalping losses and it is still the first day they are onsale..that didn't take long

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:58 PM

there is one single ticket for 130 on stubhub right now - staying 'sub 130 now on sunday' is very inaccurate

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:59 PM

also correct me if i'm wrong, but 130 still profits

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:59 PM

12:55 there are alrady 400 tickets up on stub hub..that is not a lot of scalper? If that isn't what is?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 12:59 PM

12:59! Wrong...stub hub fees 15%+

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:00 PM

Sorry 1255 I am wrong. There is 600 tickets on stub hub now and this is for the 4 shows..not even on sale..Imagine how many there will be once the novices get there hands on it.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:01 PM

general onsale has a 4-ticket limit

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:02 PM

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:08 PM

Anyone wanna argue with the cold hard knowledge that 1:06PM just threw into the mix?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:08 PM

LCD had 600? No worries!

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:09 PM

@108 tickets were 116 dollars you fucking idiot. i know because i have the receipt for mine. i also have my stubhub receipt where i sold them for 189.99 each and received $165 per ticket. 165-116 = 49. 49x4 = 196. I just made $196, you made nothing. We'll talk again in an hour.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:10 PM

where did all there losers appear from?

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:12 PM

in 1:06 numbers I didn't see anyone who sold for $189.99...someone is lying? P

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:12 PM

They were sold after 1:06 posted his information.

Also, right now, the lowest price on Stubhub for the Sunday show is $155. Things change.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:13 PM

I made $70k on stubhub last year

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:13 PM

^Tues is under $140...you are right1

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 1:14 PM

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 3:55 PM

I AM SCUM (that is $500 richer than 11am this morning!)

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 4:22 PM

Scalping tickets to a Beyonce show doesn't make you scum. It makes you intelligent and market savvy.

Posted by Anonymous | August 10, 2011 4:37 PM

Being remotely involved in anything related to this matter makes you unworthy of my time. Good day to y'all.
