Marissa Nadler mailing records
Marissa Nadler

Marissa Nadler recently finished up a headlining tour which culminated at Littlefield in Brooklyn on July 30 and also hit Mercury Lounge three days earlier (7/27). She'll go on a European tour in October, but before she does that, she'll play a few more North American dates opening for James Vincent McMorrow on his North American tour. Marissa and James will play NYC on September 9 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

James is touring behind his debut album Early In The Morning which was released 1/11 on Vagrant. On the tour he'll be backed by a five-piece band.

Marissa also has a new video for "Alabaster Queen" off her recently released self titled album. The video was directed by Joana Linda, who has directed videos for Marissa Nadler in the past. Check that out along with all dates below...

She actually took a photo of herself mailing out records? Most people do these types of totally normal things without having to take a glamour shot to prove how great they are. Ugh.

A friend of hers took the photo and posted it on facebook. it leaked, obviously, because Marissa worked her ass off to produce that album.

Waaaaaaaaaah, I only like professional press shots. Anything else outside of those ultra strict bounds I find fault with. Because I'm America's crankiest teen. Waaaaah.

12:15 PM, that post was a total zero.

I just need to know more about this postal dude who looks like he's about to flip his lid.

Actually I will give her credit it looks like she already labeled them and put postage on...I see the prioirty mail sticker on one of them!

Most Post Offices now days have fiber glass windows and a sliding door. Looks like Kinkos but maybe not?

I think this is South Station post office in Boston. Her boyfriend took it and posted it on facebook.

Please anyone go get the guts to write a record, record it, and then self-release it. You have no idea how much work this must be. I have no idea.
