Toxicology tests have found that "no illegal substances" were in singer Amy Winehouse's system at the time of her death last month, her family said Tuesday.

"Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death," the family said in a written statement, citing test results provided to them by authorities.
The 27-year-old singer, beloved for her talent but infamous for erratic public behavior, arrests and drug problems, was found dead at her apartment in London on July 23. -[CNN]

you dopes, if she has say a benzodiazepine prescription, she could have thrown down ten pills and a gallon of vodka, and they could still rightfully claim that no illegal drugs were found in her system.

OD'd on life itself

Although hummus can be HIGHLY addictive, it's overuse only brings extraordinary health from the abundance of phyto-nutrients that are locked within the chickpea.

Doesn't heroin leave your system within 24 hours?

Posted by Anonymous | August 24, 2011 1:53 PM

If I died of an overdose, I'd want people to know. What's the point of all that hard work without any recognition?

Posted by Anonymous | August 24, 2011 3:14 PM

Chances are, since she was trying to beat her addiction, her body went into some sort of shock or trauma from her just abruptly stopping. Her organs and body just could not take the drastic shift.
