Panda Bear = most definitely not box set worthy
Hubris

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 9:14 AM

Brooklyn Masonic Temple is an awful venue for Panda Bear.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 9:18 AM

@9:14 you know all the proceeds go to charity? is charity a sign of hubris?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 9:28 AM

hows the sound at the temple?
never been there, but i remember hearing a lott of horror stories about the sound system there.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 9:30 AM

Well, 9:14, we all know what happens when you fly to close to the sun on wings made of hype...

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 9:41 AM

930am a "lott" of horror stories? are you dumbass hummus boy?

i've seen godspeed, broken social scene and other shows there. it's been excellent every time when you're right near the soundboard....definitely better than webster hall in my opinion...

Posted by Takk | August 22, 2011 9:49 AM

@9:08....hopefully a possible add for ATP on Friday 9/30

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 9:54 AM

wajheina

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 10:13 AM

954am no way panda bear will get added. but atp will add more artists for sunday's line-up soon.....

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 10:22 AM

Dude looks like he just saw frohawk's gouch.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 10:26 AM

I saw Godspeed at the temple and it sounded awful, especially compared to the church the next night. If Panda/Boom are going to ramp up the sound again for this show like they did at MHOW, this isnt the venue for it.

Also, I'll throw in a "I hope they get added for ATP on Friday or Saturday".

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 10:40 AM

I have seen Neurosis, Immortal, Pig Destroyer, Sunn 0))), etc. at the Masonic temple and the sound was always fantastic. Deafening, but good.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 10:44 AM

9:41

that is "too close to the sun"

please learn how to spell

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 10:48 AM

9:28 ... hubris as in overestimating one's output as being of sufficient quality and relevance, obviously given the context.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 11:13 AM

Masonic Temple sound blows. If you think otherwise, you are half a retard.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 11:14 AM

1114. if you had to pick webster or masonic, you would b the dumbass picking webster.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 11:29 AM

11:29 I don't subscribe to your piece of shit choices, and I am now silently dismissing you.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 11:30 AM

1130 its ok buddy we all know you think terminal 5 sounds great and masonic temple shows sound terrible right?

bafoon!

go get your ears checked. were you there for neurosis, sunn o))), bss, godspeed or any other shows?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 12:42 PM

Man, did you hear what 11:14 said to 11:35? That shit was CRAZY. And then 2:14 was all like "oh no he didn't" and 6:45 was like "oh yes he did" and then we all went back to 3:57's and had cake. Best summer ever.

Posted by K | August 22, 2011 1:04 PM

12:43 Who said anything about T5? I think that you should carry on with this conversation that you are having inside your own head, but do it somewhere else. Your straw man has been exposed, as your shit for brains have as well you fat little faggot.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:05 PM

You know, when you've been making music for over a decade, released about a dozen albums both by yourself and with other bands it's safe to say your career isn't dependent on "hype" anymore.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:08 PM

Brittany Spears and Michael Bolton have been making music for over a decade and have released about a dozen albums both by themselves and with other bands as well, you fat fuck

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:10 PM

its safe to say 105pm ate a batch of bad hummus last night and is having a nice trip to the toilet every 5 mins today....

eat some edamame instead and cheer up hipster!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:17 PM

1:17 I only wish you could know what I do for a living, and my level of education, so you would realize what a blithering idiot your comments are making you sound like. Keep going. This is amusing me greatly.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:20 PM

You know that practical joke, where the guy calls up the cleaners and uses soundbites from Schwarzenegger movies in place of actual conversation? That is the real-life analog for this thread.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:25 PM

We found him! 120pm is 70k dude! Congrats bro!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:35 PM

Wow, are you off 1:35. But you may have heard about this newfangled thing you can do by hitting the Cntl key with the C key (and then with the V key). Pretty neat!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:47 PM

Anyone who listens to this shite has mind fucked themselves into
thinking this is anything more than someone jerking off with triggers and echos. So going to see this live is like standing in a corner and watching someone jerk it on stage.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 1:56 PM

Wow. So Michael Boltons a buzzband now? Probably the worst comeback ever.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 2:04 PM

^^ if this is the main point you garnered from that post, you really need to give daddy back that tuition money that he's ponying up for your obviously useless education. But cheer up, there are openings at TCI for the fall semester, and the world still needs plumbers to keep the shit flowing (lol)

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 2:16 PM

Panda Bear SUCKS.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 2:30 PM

This guy is in his mid 30s and insist on being called "Panda Bear."

'nuff said.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 2:49 PM

Panda Bear is Overrated!

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 3:11 PM

everyone who just commented on this is stupid. i like pandabear lolzzzZZZzzzzZ whats this about hummus?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:07 PM

Isn't this the guy with the greasy hair and a faint smell of urine that hangs out by playgrounds and lures young boys into the back of his van with his panda bear and a promise of "special vitamins"? That's kind of creepy, and I don't think that I want to condone such behavior by going to see him at T5 or Webster Hall or Masonic Temple.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:08 PM

2:49 - it wasn't funny the first 49 times you posted it

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:10 PM

I stand corrected; 2:16 was the worst comeback ever. Congratulations! You topped yourself.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:12 PM

Panda Bear new rekkid is overrated.. total crap infact..

yawnfestapalooza

have sonic b work on it and do his live shows is the only thing that makes any of it good or worth purchasing.

yawn

Posted by mighty! | August 22, 2011 4:12 PM

4:10 did you really count all the other times that 2:49 (and his time-based aliases) have posted that comment? That's kind of creepy, yo. Your like a stalker and shit. That's why they make restraining orders .... just saying.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:13 PM

Actually he goes by Noah in nearly every interview he does, and I highly doubt any of his friends or family actually calls him Panda Bear. It's a psuedonym for a music project. How do you not get that?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:15 PM

For the record....
- A pedophile is not funny but a guy named Panda Bear is hilarious.
- Cerebral Palsy is not funny but projectile incontinence is hilarious.
- Skinny hipsters are not funny but fat sloppy bitches like that dude in PS I Love You are fucking hilarious.
- I am 100% certain that 2:04/4:12 etc. = a fat sloppy bitch with projectile incontinence who likes Panda Bear.

lol

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:21 PM

^ Thank you for informing me on what is funny and what isn't. I was a bit confused and you rectified the issue for me. Now that my thoughts are more in line with yours I'm going to go over there to my good processor and let that sweet buzzing sound of mashing chickpeas warm my soul and feel extremely content.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 4:58 PM

"Dude looks like he just saw frohawk's gouch."

Hahhahaha

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 5:09 PM

4:58
nigga makes hissown hummus. that's hardcore, for a white boy.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 5:41 PM

541. you're pretty hardcore for a whiteboy.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 6:41 PM

Hummus knows no racial boundaries. It is enjoyed by both whites & blacks... Thereby answering the eternal question... Do niggaz like hummus?

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 6:51 PM

gotta love the guy who "lol"s at his own posts. classy.

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 6:52 PM

well done 1:04

Posted by Anonymous | August 22, 2011 7:45 PM
