"The Power of The Riff" has completed three days of their five date West Coast tour, logging shows at Echo/Echoplex in Los Angeles on 8/13 (pics HERE), Elbo Room in San Francisco on 8/15, and last night (8/16) at Mezzanine in San Francisco.
Bands that played over the course of the three days include Pentagram, Winter, Noothgrush, Trap Them, Acephalix, Black Breath, Eyehategod, Pelican, All Pigs Must Die, Early Graves (with new vocalist John of The Funeral Pyre!), Seven Sisters of Sleep, Masakari and many more.
Pictures from Echo/Echoplex adorn this post. More of them below.
And for the curious, yes, you read right. The show was one of the first to feature the return of Early Graves after the untimely passing of vocalist Makh Daniels. Glad to see that they are back in action!
Pentagram with Jeff The Brotherhood, Valient Thorr are about to head out on tour. Get your tickets for the NYC show at Le Poisson Rouge with ELKS.

What an absolutely disgusting display of humanity. This whole scene is clown shit.

Clown shit? What does clown shit look like exactly? Is it different than regular people shit? I wonder if you would say that to someone to their face, regardless of the scene.
The internet: Giving a chance to all those poor souls with no balls or guts or even a shred of intelligence to pontificate on us all with...the mighty verbage known as "clown shit"

Do you think clown shit comes out of your ass continuously like that never-ending hankerchief gag?

Dear Mr. Clown Shit: not sure why you read this site if you are so offended by it's content.

Whats wrong with regular people enjoying live music that they love. If you come to this site, I'm sure you must like music in one way or another. No ones judging you.
Wish I could have gone to this btw, EHG, Pelican, APMD and Pentagram?! Damn good lineup.

Looks like a lot of folks came out to these shows. A lot of folks paying money at the door and buying merch from the bands. Maybe Mr. Clown Shit is jealous that his shitty indie band cant bring more than 3 people to suffer through the human shit he calls music.
