Q-Tip at Brooklyn Hip Hop Fest (more by Brook Bobbins)

Q-Tip, who recently cancelled a European tour and a Brooklyn Bowl show, has also dropped off the free Quiksilver-hosted show in Long Beach, NY (which set times were just announced for) that he was scheduled to play on September 9 with The Flaming Lips, Neon Indian, and Wavves.
Q-Tip does however now have a show (DJ gig?) scheduled to take place on August 27 at Irving Plaza in NYC (update: it has been confirmed that Q-Tip will be DJing). The show, billed as a Michael Jackson Birthday Tribute also includes special guest DJ Spinna (like it did in 2009). Tickets are on sale now. Let's hope Q-Tip is doing ok and makes it out to this one.

After watching that Documentary and then this, Q-Tip is sounding more and more like the primadonna he is.
