Wild Flag's alright if you wanna be pushed into a tub of hummus!
Wild Flag's alright if you like tuberculosis!
Wild Flag's alright if you like fart and jizz!
Wild Flag's alright if you're a homosexual!

Wild Flag's alright,
Wild Flag's alright,
Wild Flag's alright,
if you like banjos!

This sounds pretty good. Why was I so unimpressed by them at the Sonic Youth show?

Posted by Anonymous | August 29, 2011 3:57 PM

because you were busy talking to your friends the entire time?

Posted by Anonymous | August 30, 2011 1:33 AM

I believe it's a reference to Cat Power's "cracker jack" backing band. > Clown Shit

The C is for Cracker
The J is for Jack

Posted by Anonymous | August 30, 2011 9:00 AM

Cracker with Jack White would be a cool combo...Hickman is a good guitarist in his own right!

Awesome. Not better than Sleater-Kinney, but pretty damn close. Sounds like exactly what it is, a Sleater-Kinney/Mary Timony project. Not a bad thing at all, though I do feel bad saying that, since that's exactly what they were trying to avoid. Huge fan of both S-K and Mary Timony. Keep it up. Can't wait to see them at Bell House and Bowery.

Posted by Anonymous | August 30, 2011 12:06 PM

what is that fat chick in sleater kinney doing now?

Posted by Anonymous | August 30, 2011 12:10 PM

That's pretty observant 12:06, seeing as it is basically 2/3 of Sleater-Kinney plus Mary Timony. Guess next you'll be telling us about how dog shit tastes exactly like what you expected dog shit to taste like. Never mind, you don't need to share any more.

Posted by Anonymous | August 30, 2011 2:18 PM

hummus tastes like dog shit. ask me how i know.

Posted by Anonymous | August 30, 2011 4:38 PM

@2:18 -
You sorely need to get laid.
