Avey Tare

Animal Collective member Avey Tare released his debut solo effort Down Here last fall via the band's own Paw Tracks Records. At the end of this November, Avey will head out on a 10-city solo tour that will hit Knitting Factory Brooklyn on December 2nd with Eric Copeland (of Black Dice). Tickets are on sale now. All dates are listed with some videos, below.

I herd the setlist is MPP in its entirety with Panda's parts replaced by animal squawks. Encore is Leaf House three times.

Will Dana, editor of Rolling Stone here. Just finished an interview with Avey Tare, and he revealed that his biggest musical influence was S P I N D O C T O R S. Avey just confirmed with us that he will be at the S P I N S show when they perform Pocket Full of Kryptonite in its entirety. He might even do a S P I N S remix in the near future.
