Elbow were amazing...crowd was into it..great show...wish they threw in a couple form the first two albums though. If you think Elbow sound like Keane or Coldplay you are deaf.

I gave my Elbow to some punk ass bitch's face on the street last night. It was awesome.

Just lump this in the "Big band in the UK, that nonone in the U.S. gives two shits about" category...

Pansy rock, for dudes with manginas.

Didn't know Ricky Gervais had a band.

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 2:28 PM

Sheesh, sounds like the kind of garbage that would of been in the movie Titanic as the ship went down.

Grumpy english people...

227 show was packed fool

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 2:30 PM

that's not ricky gervais - that's pavarotti! show some respect. T5 rulez.

Not sure why there's all the hate. Elbow is a great band and very under-appreciated in the U.S. (this coming from an American).

"Not sure why there's all the hate."

Y'all new aroun' here, huh Bubba?

Best T5 show I've been to. Guy Garvey is an excellent showman with an incredible voice.

Fantastic show.

2:27 Beastie Boys are Pansy Rock. Check out Elbow live sometime & get over yourself.

Played several European festivals with Elbow this summer. My god, what pompous boring shit. Nice enough guys but it was torture and dull.

Elbow was amazing last night. You probably don't have ears if you think otherwise

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 5:22 PM

Better ears than you apparently.

El-blow

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 5:37 PM

Valensi, can we get a listen to your music?

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 5:52 PM

i missed this show, but from what i've read in other blogs it was good as usual
his voice is impeccable and their music is not for everyone, so I wonder how many of these kids ranting about how bad they are have actually listened to them
Not that real fans of the band care

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 6:29 PM

Wish I'd been able to make this show. Elbow's albums are great. Have yet to see them.

Posted by Anonymous | September 26, 2011 7:11 PM

whoa, unnecessary hating going on right mya. elbow's legit, definitely underrated. Show was probably fun.

If valensi is indeed nick valensi of the strokes then you should concentrate on making a decent record before slagging off others. Don't seem to remeber YOU winning a mercury prize.

NIce: wtf man?

@ valensi - needs more bowties.

Posted by Anonymous | September 27, 2011 7:02 PM

valensi - Strokes SUCK. BORING pop for morons. Arctic Monkeys defecate on you. Elbow INDEED deserve all the success and fame they get. Their music is AMAZING and they were FANTASTIC at Terminal 5.

Posted by Timothy Dannenhoffer | September 28, 2011 1:24 AM

One more thing Valensi - in a "just" US, not filled with fucking idiots with bad taste, Elbow would have played Madison Square Garden a hundred thousand times before the Strokes did.

Posted by Timothy Dannenhoffer | September 28, 2011 1:39 AM

more like el-blow

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 1:58 AM

1:58 - I bet the REAL list of bands that blow would be a list of bands you thought were good - like a Guns and Roses fan saying that U2 sucks.

Posted by Timothy Dannenhoffer | September 28, 2011 6:38 AM

I was there. I've been a fan for over 10 years. It was incredible. "Tower Crane Driver" live was sublime.

Posted by Roxy | September 28, 2011 5:21 PM

more like gums and poses

I was at this show. It was fantastic.
