Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:21 PM

You're all aware that a person making $70k a year pays at least $30k in taxes and medical benefits, correct?

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:22 PM

looks like you made a dumb choice. music was shit this summer.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:23 PM

$80.00 for Roseland on The New Year!

Oy Vey!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:23 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:24 PM

`"total cash grab because they're in the area doing snl."

And Colbert Show. And a surprise show at ATP in Asbury. (oops you didn't hear that from me)

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:28 PM

first!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:28 PM

Be less green and charge less for tickets I say
and play the songs I want
and blow me
yeah, that will be great

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:28 PM

My Bloody Valentine was $50+ fees
Atoms for Peace was $50+ fees

It's called Roseland inflation - totally expected this.

I slept outside for Kid A Roseland show in 2000.

At least they are doing it right and will avoid scalpers...

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:29 PM

Don't worry, I'm sure Thom donates his share to climate change research.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:30 PM

Guess this would be really really cool if I liked Radiohead.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:31 PM

3:15,

Are you fucking kidding me? You think $80 is a lot for this type of exclusive show. You're a moron....

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:33 PM

US $65.00 Ticket + US $14.75 greed =
US $79.75

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:37 PM

In all seriousness, I think they'll make an appearance at ATP. It's too close in proximity not to happen. Epic!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:39 PM

you need to update that bottom line, Tickets are not available yet, but the shows are listed

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:39 PM

it's funny that anyone on here thinks of roseland as a small venue.

that place is a cave.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:40 PM

Presale Code: HUMMUS

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:40 PM

And by "I slept outside for Kid A Roseland show in 2000" you mean "I am a complete loser and will someday have to admit this to my friends' children, who will laugh at me."

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:41 PM

Roseland sucks. It gets so hot in that place. If you are in the back you might as well stay home and listen to their CDs.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:43 PM

I'd rather see Coldplay!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:46 PM

@3:46 Coldplay is doing ultra elite exclusive show at Ed Sullivan Theater tomorrow night! Since Radiohead is next week, why settle for one?!

Posted by yoyo | September 19, 2011 3:49 PM

I'll be paying out the nose for tickets for this. Fuck it...Fuck it right in the clown shitter.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:49 PM

I'll be at that Coldplay show.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:51 PM

3:43,

Sorry you're a huge puss and can't take any place that doesn't have absolute perfect conditions and also sorry you're (again) a huge puss and can't manage to get close to the stage.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:52 PM

eh $80 is worth it. when is Radiohead ever gonna play a venue this small again. never.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:53 PM

i like roseland

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:56 PM

I saw Faith No More and Helmet at the Roseland back in 92 and it ROCKED.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 3:58 PM

Maybe with all the cash from these shows Thom will be a little less sad about things in general???

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:00 PM

I saw Sam Lanin and his Ipana Troubadours at the Roseland in 1919. Couples danced the jitterbug, Lindy Hop, and Charleston. whites only. it ROCKED

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:13 PM

Thom's not sad--he's anxious.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:19 PM

agh...I accidentally clicked on the BrAun CruZer . Some stupid video starts playing...its enough to make me throw my BrAun Cruzer in the trash!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:24 PM

somebody on this board would actually go see coldplay, nice...

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:29 PM

Braun Cruzer meme = not happening!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:29 PM

set times for Helmet?

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:36 PM

Im thinking of purchasing a braun cruzer slice for cutting my chickpeas for when I make my next batch of hummus... has anyone tried this?

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:39 PM

why would I feel like a moron?

I SAW RADIOHEAD KID A AT ROSELAND.

I'd do it again.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:43 PM

wonder how late radiohead would realistically be taking the stage. 10? 11?

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:46 PM

I'd rather get my heinie shined by Dr. Frankenstein

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:49 PM

4:46 - i didn't call you a moron. just a loser. there's a difference.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:51 PM

Radiohead will be playing King of Limbs straight through and then a 1 song encore, which will be the alt-rock classic, "Creep."

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:52 PM

like a guy who can't tell time?

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:52 PM

fair enough - i misread the time, but the kid a guy is still a loser...

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 4:53 PM

you're just jealous.

there was no $15 service charge for the Kid A show if you got them at the Box Office that day...

it was actually fun - hanging out in the streets drinking beers w fellow hardcore radiohead fans.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 5:03 PM

praying I can get at least one ticket!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 6:45 PM

Is there really a 3rd show to be announced thats a benefit for Oxfam? I'd rather spend my money on that one.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 7:22 PM

Well Thom basically assured there wont be any jews at the concerts...hope your happy

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 7:58 PM

don't care.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 9:05 PM

Fuck, that's Rosh Hashanah. I always knew Radiohead hated Jews.

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 9:05 PM

@905 you're the one believing in that stupid shit lol.

why can't jews just stand up to their parents and say I don't believe in any of this shit!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 9:38 PM

None of you are getting tickets for this!

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 9:41 PM

^
true

Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2011 11:21 PM

how's the new clap your hands say yeah album?

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 1:06 AM

better question, how much money did clap your hands say yeah pay for that ad?

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 7:48 AM

4:46 nailed it

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 7:57 AM

7:48am nailed it brah

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 9:03 AM

Dip in your pita say yeah

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 9:49 AM

Am I the only one who has heard of Four Tet but kind of has no idea how many bands this is in total?

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 11:11 AM

I'll trade one floor seat for LCD at MSG for one Radiohead Kid A at Roseland

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 2:01 PM

3:33 - NO show is worth $80.
It's amazing how people have been conditioned to think that it's normal to pay that much to watch a bunch of guys play music for 2 hours.
I can afford it. I just think it's stupid to spend that much and walk away with nothing but a memory of being in a crowded room with a bunch of sweaty turds listening to a band.

Posted by Anonymous | September 20, 2011 6:58 PM

So wait, are the 3 others besides Four Tet playing together or separately as openers?

Posted by Anonymous | September 21, 2011 1:29 PM

THERE ARE 4 AMAZING ACTS PLAYING. FOUR TET WILL BE JOINING ROCKETNUMBERNINE ON STAGE. $65 ISNT THAT BAD, CONSIDERING THE LINE UP. YOU SHOULD BE MAD AT TICKETMASTER FOR MAKING SURE WE HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE TICKET OUTLET.

That is all.

Posted by Anonymous | September 21, 2011 4:49 PM

6:58pm

you're spot on man. it's kind of funny but the whole 'exclusive expensive show' experience is, even if you LOVE the band in question, is overrated. of course it's fantastic to attend special intimate shows or not so intimate shows for that matter, but paying more than 40 bucks (and even THAT'S too much) is just ridiculous. i payed 100 dollars to see R.E.M. at MSG several years back when Accelerate came out and even though I enjoyed myself at the time, it was totally not worth it.. I'm not spoiled in saying, I'm just honest. I'm glad I saw them before they broke up, but that shit was too much money.

I love Radiohead as much as the next guy, but I simply won't be going to either of these shows. I'll be content listening to the recordings of it and watching YouTube videos. It's certainly better than nothing.

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 6:52 PM

value is subjective, even if you spin your view as if it's universal law. some experiences for some people are priceless, just ask the geniuses at mastercard.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 2:36 PM

Can you email me with some pointers on how you made your site look this awesome, I would appreciate it.
