Ghost @ The Studio at Webster Hall (more by Greg Cristman)
Ghost

Everybody,

Due to some last minute complications with our visas, we have been forced to cancel our North American tour.

We are sorry towards the other bands on the tour, Enslaved and Alcest, and we wish them a very joyful tour without us.

And we are most of all tremendously sorry towards all of our fans.

This is truly beyond our control and we are making everything within our (His) powers to be able to come back to the US as soon as possible and perform for all of you.

Thank you all for your support!

Our most malicious of wishes

/A Nameless Ghoul
on behalf of GHOST
Those dates include Gramercy Theater on September 25th (tickets). All affected tour dates are below.

In related news, the mysterious GHOST frontman's identity may have been revealed.

when/if they come to the US, they should do some shows with odd future as the "we're fake shit, but check out our badass inverted crosses" tour

I'll take a Billyburger, medium please, a side of hummus and one expresso.

Oh, and please put on the real Ghost. The one who records on Drag City and is from Japan. Not this fake Ghost shite.

real ghost = cracker jack

Fixed that for ya, 2:32.

Posted by Anonymous | September 10, 2011 9:10 AM

Enough with the Billyburger, it's not funny. Your choices are cracker jack or clown shit or hummus. That is all.

Posted by Anonymous | September 10, 2011 9:12 AM

they're a pretty terrible band

Posted by Anonymous | September 10, 2011 10:21 AM

Wait a cotton-pickin' second. I happen to like Billyburgers. And, I find myself enjoying a bowl of hummus sprinkled with Crack Jack now and then too. Is that so wrong? May I not have my cake and eat it too? However, with regard to both Ghost bands ... I feel as though this one is, how do you say it, clown shit? Yes. Clown shit. The true Ghost band hails from mighty Japan and records on Drag City. Should this band decide to release a rainbow of balloons from a loft in Brooklyn, I might change my mind. Or. Or! If they team up with CocoRosie and get those ladies to record something half as good as their first release and nothing like all the shite subsequent releases, well then ... damn, maybe I'll give this clown shit Ghost band a chance.

Now get my my expresso, bitch.

The Japanese Ghost is much better anyway, so no loss to me.

Posted by Anonymous | September 10, 2011 1:21 PM

Well, it is a good thing that Enslaved trumps all... ALL! The only real reason to see this tour...
