I always kinda like Noel for the ass that he is, but $52.90 - $93.85?!?!?!?!

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 11:27 AM

Prices are insane. All I could get for 52 bucks was the upper balcony. So annoying.

Who?

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 11:41 AM

^ Liam, is that you?

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 11:57 AM

Oh boy can't wait to scoop up a ticket for $10 on stub hub. Thanks Noel!

If he opened for Blur, I would go see the show

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:06 PM

Noel Gallagher is GOD.

Oasis crushed blur in every sense of the word. Better reviews, more album sales, more singles sales, more #1 singles in the UK, sold out bigger tours in the UK, Europe, Asia and the United States. They also lasted a lot longer than blur who broke up in 2003, really broke up when Graham left in 2000. Oasis wins. Hands down.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:18 PM

But Oasis should've broken up long before they did.

Pixie cuts are not meant for men.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:37 PM

Hilarious

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:39 PM

his management bought half the tickets

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:41 PM

12:18 Country House killed Roll with it? No?

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:44 PM

Oasis crushed blur in every sense? Are you lunatic? It crushed on popularity and sales. And that's it. Better reviews? Since when??

Blur is 84 in Metacritic, Oasis 79
http://www.metacritic.com/person/blur

Oasis Lasted a lot longer releasing crap albuns. Blur last 3 Blur albuns are just awesome. While Oasis were just doing the same shit but worse Blur were growing and experimenting.

Present? BEady eye is just a very mediocre Oasis. Noel who knows... Blur solo career? Graham Coxon released great albuns and Damon Albarn...well, I don't have anything to say about the guy who writes opera, soundtracks, invented Gorillaz, assemble The Good, The Bad and The Queen, was hailed by The Guardian one of the most accomplished british artist of all time...hands down you are lunatic.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:45 PM

Anon 12:18, if popularity and sales is your standard for comparing artists (and that's the only of your comments that sticks 'cos Blur had much better reviews overall than Oasis) Mariah Carey is much better than Oasis and Blur. Hands down

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 12:50 PM

12:45 - have you actually LISTENED to gorillaz, GBATQ, or the last blur album? Awful across the board.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:02 PM

Suprised Noel's ego can fit into the Beacon.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:03 PM

^Think Tank, GBTQ and Plastic Beach/Fall all were ace! You're buggin yo!

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:05 PM

^^^ I'm sure you think so. Much better is Beady eyes and the last Oasis albuns. Cheers!

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:05 PM

In the endlessly futile Blur vs. Oasis debate, the winner is always Pulp.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:05 PM

Radiohead > Pulp > Blur > Oasis

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:09 PM

1:03: Believe you me, it can. Liam's on the other hand is another story.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:09 PM

Beady eyes suxs and Oasis had a couple of good albuns. And that's it. Blur, Supergrass and Pulp are pretty awesome though

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:10 PM

Blur has phenominal bsides....the 10th anniversary single set has about 60-70 pretty decent bsides..Oasis had a few good ones too but on the whole Blur is more rounded with fewer missteps.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:13 PM

Actually I would say Blur<Charlatans UK<Oasis....All pretty good in some aspects but Charlatans are just as good minus the bs egos

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:14 PM

No, beady eye and oasis are pretty awful too, I just can't stand the whole Damon Albarn circle jerk.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:16 PM

Ok lets get this down.

definitely maybe completely changes the scope. than to sophmore with whats the story.

shut the fuck up

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 1:42 PM

agreed 1203...cant wait for a bunch of tix the day of the show for cheap.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 2:11 PM

Man I'll freakin slap you!

Wait ...what?

What are we talking about?

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 2:14 PM

blur only beat Oasis with Country House because of sales shannigans.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 2:22 PM

Noel Gallagher wrote Live Forever, Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, The Masterplan and The Importance of Being Idel.

LEGEND!

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 3:25 PM

An American using the term "shenanigans" whilst discussing Britpop is almost as disgusting and offensive a cliché as referring to an Asian person as a "chick"

Posted by Dick Hell | September 9, 2011 3:37 PM

"shenanigans" is not an exclusively British term like "bollocks", or "bum".

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 3:51 PM

3:37 sounds like an asshole.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 5:34 PM

Noel Gallagher > Damon Albarn

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 6:05 PM

Dude...even Guigsy > Albarn.

Posted by Anonymous | September 9, 2011 6:12 PM
