Rosetta releasing split w/ Junius (listen to a new song)

Philiadelphia astro-metallers Rosetta create another georgeous and sprawling epic on their upcoming split with fellow delay-pedal fans Junius. The new release, due 9/27 on Translation Loss Records, features a song from each band, including a melancholic new Rosetta burner "TM-3" which makes its debut here. Stream it below.

Rosetta have confirmed their involvement in the Metal Suckfest at Gramercy Theater on 11/5 (aka the second day of the festival), and with Cynic, The Red Chord and Obscura. Though the lineup has yet to be fully announced by day, that may mean that Municipal Waste, Today Is The Day, and Magrudergrind are all on board for the first day (11/4). Ticketing info is still on the way.

Rosetta also have a Philly show coming up. Dates and the "TM-3" stream below...

Seriously... This band is no good. To sum it up, this is a band that is full of guys who were probably floorpunching to laughable hardcord bands a year before they started, then they heard ISIS and started a "post-metal" band. The result is bad emo mixed with melodic hardcore riffs at a slower tempo. It has no heart and you can tell by listening.

they sound nothing like Isis. Its unfortunate that people who were only as widely listened as Tool then got then got into Isis because of Justin Cancellor and seem to think they are the benchmark of this style of music. Rosetta are much more original in my opinion.

@ troll cunta. Still can't believe you reckon they ripped off Isis. This music is created to help people expand/ delve into their consciousness and in no way is about ego. Go and take a trip and realize that at the moment you are pointless in the grand scheme of things. They are a great live band and deserve the respect they get from a lot of appreciative people.

Agreed, TGS was a killer debut album, and Wake/Lift was a perfect followup. Their third album took a minute to win me over, and Im pumped for newer material. These guys are all amazing musicians
