If the Spin Doctors show is not on the Whats Going On Sunday post Oct 23rd, then that will truly be the day the music died

@3:46, Yes, and I'd love to see them as the header image as well. Jimmy Olsen's hummus.

3:46,

I like veal. Much veal.

i humbly wish to point out that the mad scene is headlining union pool. 1-800-band is first.

WHAT TIME IS IT?!!!!!

You lame posters are trying to brain wash / mind control us into being apathetic to music, art and culture. You evil doers must have been trained and abused at an elite underground agency. You have ruined America.

You truly are "Spin Doctors," since you use your advanced neuro-linguistic programming to alter moods and opionions, thus are doctors of "Spin." Here is a book " The Linguistics of Political Argument: The Spin-Doctor and the Wolf-Pack at the White House" see what I mean, do you get it. Oh and Hummus sales also have plummeted.

4:58 is not a true Spins fan as any true Spins fan can tell you the black bassist's name is Mark White.

Men Without Hats are back, Spin Doctors, too, be careful what you wish for.

Anybody know the set times for Wilco?? By any chance?

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 5:39 PM

Set time for Wilco:
6:45 = rain starts falling heavily
7:00 = Nick Lowe comes out, plays 2 songs
7:12 = lightening strikes Manhattan
7:13 = concert cancelled, crowd is drenched with torrential rain walking to the 77th St. 6-train stop.

Foie Gras Brahs at the New Old New Market Hotel, 6am

It seems somehow unfair that a fella can't post about the Boys of Jacuzzi while some clown shit keeps up the Cntl-C > Contl-V regarding the Band Whose Name Will Not Be Typed (that has the initials S.D.)

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 5:43 PM

This Spin Doctors meme is really weak. Best you can come up with folks?

Girls = most overrated band out there. Terrible voice, lame guitar riffs, over-hyped lyrics.

Why, exactly, are they the "next big thing?"

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 8:36 PM

@8:36 they arent the next big thing.

theyve been a big thing for years at this point. 2 great lps and an ep? were u been grampz?

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 9:58 PM

Also a big thing: The critically adored album Pocket Full of Kryptonite, by the Spin Doctors. Oct 23!

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 10:36 PM

bv, it's time to ban the words spin doctors.

Posted by Anonymous | September 22, 2011 10:56 PM

@9:58 -- I have the LPs and the EP. Overrated. He doesn't do any one thing well. It's all just very mediocre. If mediocrity is your thing, though, thing I'm sure it rules...

How was Opeth? Better than the first night?
