Radiohead says:

"Some ticket holders for this week's New York shows have chosen to re-sell one or both of their allocation on auction sites. Using a 2 ticket limit and will-call only access with ID, we have tried to ensure that more tickets go to the people who prefer to see the show than to cheat fellow fans with re-selling tickets at exorbitant prices.

For those of you who have to pay over the face value of the ticket, PLEASE make sure that you are certain you can get into the show before parting with your money. A ticket is only valid with its matching credit card details and the ID of the purchaser, after which the ticket holder will be escorted straight through. "

I just received confirmation there are going to be about 500 tickets at the door tonight at Roseland. I'm heading over there right now.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 3:56 PM

^wtf

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 3:57 PM

@356 first of all, not true. second, you're about 10 hours too late. no way you're below the 1000th person in line if you head there now.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 3:58 PM

If you believe 3:56 then I have tickets for you to buy from me now for Friday's secret Radiohead daytime performance at Bowery Ballroom. You can buy them from me for 100 bucks.

Set TImes for Radiohead?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:11 PM

That little blurb from Radiohead is a bit ridiculous. What the hell did they expect? Someone is always gonna find a way to make money off your tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:12 PM

anybody want to trade drums tix fr radiohead?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:15 PM

Who's Radiohead?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:15 PM

Liam NAILED it

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:16 PM

maybe if Liam Gallagher listened to more interesting music he wouldn't just keep rewriting Beatles albums

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:18 PM

Yes, Liam. And, if I may say, the only thing your previous band is famous for is blatantly ripping of Stones and Beatles riffs. Jealous wanker, innit?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:19 PM

That's a great sound bite for why Liam Gallagher's new music sucks.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:20 PM

you know who sucks? you. OOOOOOHHHHHH!

Posted by Liam | September 28, 2011 4:23 PM

DESPERATE FOR RADIOHEAD TICKETS! Will trade two balcony seats for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at the Beacon second night.

anyone know the set times? i'm actually curious as to when four tet is coming on...

Posted by chris | September 28, 2011 4:32 PM

getting radiohead tickets isn't a fucking miracle, you rube. it's just a concert. it's only music. you're going to live.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:32 PM

nooooo! me wuv wadiohead too much to miss.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:33 PM

Hey 4:12, it's just a nice reminder to keep dummies from trusting someone with their wad of cash. Apparently, security will be tight.

Posted by Liz | September 28, 2011 4:35 PM

Yeah anyone got set times for Radiohead? It says "6:30pm" on TM, but I assume that's just doors.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:36 PM

"I've never even heard Sgt. Pepper, but anything by The Beatles doesn't make much sense to me. Everyone's going on about The Beatles pushing things forward, but the only thing they're famous for really is songs like "I Want To Hold Your Hand," innit?"

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:40 PM

6:30 - doors
6:30-9 - Falty DL/Pearson Sound (DJ set)
9-9:40 - Four Tet w/Rocketnumbernine
10-12 - Radiohead

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:41 PM

I wish I was on acid right now

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:42 PM

Ticketdrop?

Terrible tattoo at top. Just terrible.

Posted by RadioDREAD | September 28, 2011 4:42 PM

thanks for the set times! that is a massive relief for me, i can't get down there until eight, thought i might miss half the show and four tet too. *sigh* i know it sounds dumb to say, since so many people didn't get tickets, but this whole event has caused a huge amount of stress for a few of us that did get them... i think it's about time radiohead put in some paperwork for a show at central park next year.

Posted by chris | September 28, 2011 4:45 PM

The joke is that the set times can not be a turned back clock to when they were actually good.
The other joke is that they are going to be as bad or worse than they were on Colbert.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:47 PM

4:41 is incorrect.

6:30 - doors
6:30-9 - Falty DL/Pearson Sound (DJ set)
9-9:40 - Radiohead

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:51 PM

it took the beatles 4 years to go from "i want to hold your hand" to sgt. pepper's. it took radiohead 20 years to go from "creep" to king of limbs.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:51 PM

4:51 no. 1, what about four tet? presumably kieran is getting going sometime between 7:30 and 9:00 if your times are correct, yeah?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:53 PM

You've all been duped

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:54 PM

wtf does the arctic monkeys have to do with this?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:55 PM

Beatles = greatest pop/rock band EVER! Not fair to compare any others to them!

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 4:55 PM

I hear they are playing at ATP in NJ this weekend. All knowing message board, is there any truth to this?!

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:10 PM

really 4:51? I would argue OK Computer was the Sgt Pepper's of the nineties which was about 4yrs after creep. There I said it.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:14 PM

Anika DJ Set at The Bedford. 10PM. Free. 21+. w/ DJ Duane Harriott.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:16 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:19 PM

@5:19 looks like we're twins now

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:20 PM

there are actually tickets at the door. dude wasn't kidding. it's like arcade fire judson all over again.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:34 PM

Listen up fools, there are no tickets at the door. Believing these trolls will fuck you up. Go to Twitter and search radiohead roseland whatever and funny no one actually there now is saying tickets at the door. How odd.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 5:59 PM

I love Radiohead, but to compare OK Computer to Sgt. Pepper's is ludicrous and really speaks more of your own musical ignorance than Radiohead's credibility.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 6:08 PM

"Sgt. Pepper's" is great, but seriously: "Lovely Rita"? It's a pop song, not exactly a game-changing stroke of genius.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 6:46 PM

Lovely Rita > Fitter Happier

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 7:07 PM

Colonoscopy > Lovely Rita

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 7:10 PM

7:10 really nailed it regardless of the truth

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 7:13 PM

5:59 made you look!

Seriously though, tickets were at the door.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 7:15 PM

yeah; they did release about 50 tickets when the doors opened, and said they may release more before the band comes on, depending on what capacity is like. so there you go.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 7:26 PM

So, like, what was the Sgt Peppers of the 80s?

Posted by streetdude | September 28, 2011 7:31 PM

to peeps that got into roseland already, did they just check id. my credit card was stolen but then canceled yesterday. still have the credit #/info or they need everything for will call entrance?

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 7:45 PM

Just id.

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 8:48 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 9:23 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 9:38 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 9:40 PM

Liam Gallagher = what a dumb talentless cunt

Posted by Anonymous | September 28, 2011 9:51 PM

^doesn't realize the irony of being an anonymous brooklynvegan poster and writing this.

Posted by Anonymous | September 29, 2011 12:19 AM

without a doubt, radiohead was one of the worst nyc shows this year. i'm sure it'll come out in the message boards

Posted by Anonymous | September 29, 2011 12:45 AM

All lies, they never released any tickets at the door and it was far from the worst show this year. Guy above probably was not even there.idiots

Posted by Anonymous | September 29, 2011 1:15 AM

Show was just ok. Short (for them) and almost all songs from the last 2 albums. Not worth 80 bucks.

Posted by Anonymous | September 29, 2011 1:23 AM

Totally worth writing a sign to get into radiohead that read:
"Dear Potental BFF,
I have $$$, all your overpriced drinks/beers
& many high-5's for you.
I love you!" ...and then getting a hand job by a police officer.

Posted by Anonymous | September 29, 2011 1:58 AM

Wow, 5 songs I like out of 20/21, glad I'm not $500 lighter.

Posted by Anonymous | September 29, 2011 2:29 AM
