YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DISCUSSION

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:54 PM

MSG

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:54 PM

Hope this is more than just baseless speculation, but for some reason I doubt it.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:55 PM

NO MSG

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:55 PM

sounds like someone knows something...

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:55 PM

I heard 4 or 5 nights @ Roseland.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:56 PM

MSG is not open.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:56 PM

it doesn't matter. i will be there.

Posted by Giunta | September 13, 2011 12:57 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:57 PM

Most over rated band of all time followed by U2.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:57 PM

I can't tell if BV is genuinely trying to start a dialogue, of he's just being coy.

Either way.... It's a good sign

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:57 PM

Snooze cruise.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:58 PM

Central Park would be nice. On the lawn.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:58 PM

Actually ... I heard they were playing at Secret Robot Project to save the day and not have that place close. The best part is that they'll be serving free Billyburgers all night long. Once again, Radiohead save the day. Gush. I love you Bono, I mean Thom.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 12:59 PM

Ticketmaster says all four shows are all sold out. Fuck!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:00 PM

with wilco on 9/23

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:01 PM

HA HA HA! Roseland tickets would be very tough to come by. Especially if they don't tour anywhere else in the states.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:02 PM

asbury park. all tomorrow's parties.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:03 PM

I saw Jay Belin getting his lip ring charged at the Powered By Klipisch charging station outside Gramercy and he did indeed confirm 2 nights at Roseland (and added that he thinks they suck).

Descendents are playing Roseland 9/23

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:09 PM

Can't they just break up already? Radiohead fucking suck.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:12 PM

PLEASE don't let it be at Terminal 5. That place sucks and it's the only large venue that so many bands I want to see play in.

Posted by Stephanie | September 13, 2011 1:12 PM

Haven't cared since 2004 when they started being boring!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:14 PM

anywhere but MSG would be great, How about Mercury Lounge?

Posted by dave z | September 13, 2011 1:15 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:20 PM

Everyone here. Please. Go to Pitchfork and stay there. They dish out plenty of We-Want-To-Suck-Radiohead's-Dick on that site. Leave us the fuck alone. Johnny's solo work is fab, but as a band they jumped said shark a long time ago. Thanks for playing. Now go get bent.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:22 PM

I'll go provided they play a setlist that is nothing like the one they did at Glastonbury. They played pretty much all of In Rainbows on the last tour, so no need to do all of that again. And the new record is far too boring.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:23 PM

"but as a band they jumped said shark a long time ago."

that is very funny.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:23 PM

RADIOHEAD @ ATP: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2!!!!!!!!

http://www.atpfestival.com/events.php

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:27 PM

I'm allergic to MSG.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:27 PM

They're doing a taping for a show with Stephen Colbert (for real).

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:30 PM

FUCK!!! why do they do all this festival bullshit. i want radiohead, on their own, or maybe like when they had low open up for them, at a proper venue for a proper show without all the other bullshit song and dance.

i hate all you.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:30 PM

Radiohead aren't dumb enough to play T5.

They're smarter than LCD boys.

Radiohead > LCD

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:31 PM

I really thought Radiohead was a great band, but then I changed my mind when I saw that some of you didn't like them anymore. Who should I like now while I have my ironic mustache waxed?

Posted by Anonymous no more | September 13, 2011 1:31 PM

radiomehd

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:32 PM

1:31, you really think the band specifically avoids certain venues. If a certain promoter books them at a "club", it'll be T5.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:33 PM

death grips are the new thing, didn't you get the jelly announcement a while back? they are the real trend setters.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:34 PM

Radiohead will never bow down to Bowery Presents....the evil empire.

Hence they'll stick with Live Nation venues....

1) Roseland
2) Hammerstein
3) Irving Plaza

ps 2 Nights at Irving Plaza!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:34 PM

thome york smells like a sweaty latex glove.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:35 PM

sun 9/25 thru thu 9/29 look pretty open at irving, jussayin

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:36 PM

Terminal 5 is book up around that time. I'd go with Roseland.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:36 PM

This is all just speculation at this point though? Or does anyone actually have legit info....

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:37 PM

What does it matter? try getting tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:37 PM

@ Anon 1:22 PM

No.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:37 PM

death by audio

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:38 PM

keep up the negative comments - more tickets for me!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:38 PM

I saw Jay Belin drinking white wine in a VIP booth at Bouncing Souls at Highline and he said he was trying to get Mac Miller to open up these Roseland Radiohead shows!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:39 PM

"RADIOHEAD @ ATP: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2!!!!!!!!"

This would be the ultimate way for ATP to finally sell the remaining tickets. You either know something or you're confusing the word "Radio" with "Portis"

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:42 PM

@133pm yes. smart bands/artists will never play t5.

example:
1) radiohead
2) bjork
3) sigur ros
4) fleet foxes

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:43 PM

1:43,

Has nothing to do with that, it just has to do with what type of setting that want.

Also, for everyone that complains about T5, the sound is actually good if you're on the floor. I've determined that all you people who complain about "bad sound" are probably the dipshits who stand on the side or in the back on one of the balconies.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:44 PM

rip his tits!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:44 PM

Jonsi played T5 and it was great

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:45 PM

they would never play T5

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:47 PM

For real, they are doing a taping for a special episode of the Colbert Show on 9/25.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:48 PM

yes if bands want a great setting for their show, they'll avoid that shithole!

Posted by To 144pm | September 13, 2011 1:49 PM

1:34, I thought Live Nation was the evil empire? Weren't they the ones who started with the ridiculous ticket prices when they used to be Clear Channel? Not for nothing, but all the promoters are pretty much the same in terms of involvement in "the secondary market", being douchey, etc. Bowery just sucks because they are worse than the others in terms of the percentage of the house they hold back from the general onsales.
But anyway, I think historically they've always gone with Live Nation, so I doubt Bowery would be promoting them this time anyway.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:56 PM

cake shop. haha. that would be funny. awesome, but funny.

maybe atp is a live ... oh shit, wait, i got it ... it's a live mash-up with radio/portis-head featuring girl talk.

hell yes, bro.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 1:56 PM

Well we know Clive Deamer will be coming around town for ATP since he's with Portishead....

he's been helping out being Radiohead's "second drummer" during Kings of Limbs session/Glastonbury this year so.....

Posted by Takk | September 13, 2011 1:59 PM

i'm guessing the tour won't commence until 2012, with a nice juicy slot at coachella to boot, likely bonnaroo as well

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:00 PM

5 nights at Radio City Music Hall would be ideal

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:05 PM

3hr late set for Radiohead at Bonnaroo 2012:)

where did the ATP rumor come from?

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:09 PM

@205 then we won't be able to dance with thom during idioteque, the gloaming, and etc!@

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:11 PM

Thom York likes the fashion label Rag and Bone.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:11 PM

I have tickets to ATP, and I'd love it, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Isn't the biggest venue there like 1,500 capacity? They'd have to basically play Saturday and Sunday, right after Portishead. It would be a scheduling nightmare. They struggled balancing P'head and Mangum, this would be a fucking nightmare to plan.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:12 PM

fingers and toes crossed for ATP!!!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:14 PM

Considering how much they're struggling to sell tickets, would it really surprise you? Radiohead are vocal Portishead fanatics and they will be in the area around the same time.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:14 PM

atp's budget won't allow radiohead but once day, we'll hopefully get

1) ATP curated by Radiohead
2) Ok Computer in its entirety
3) Kid A in its entirety

Which one would you choose?

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:17 PM

538 Penis

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:20 PM

If you were not at either of the Jersey City gigs in 2001, you missed out.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:21 PM

will be shocked if they are added to atp, though i can obviously understand why people who are already planning on going hope it's true. i hope i find $5,000 on the sidewalk on my way home.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:23 PM

THEYRE PLAYING NOWHERE

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:24 PM

ATP is not struggling to sell tickets.

They opened a lot of different "types" of passes - so it allows them to sell more than the 2500-3000 capacity that Kutcher's was.

Stone Pony has a 3000+ person outdoor area.

I vote for Radio City.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:24 PM

WILCO IS PLAYING ED SULLIVAN THEATER

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:24 PM

ROFL at you idiots guessing all these different venues. How long have you been reading this blog? Obviously the clowns who run it know what is up and are making this post in cahoots with Live Nation to start the drumbeats rolling.

It is 2 nights at Roseland and most probably that Sunday and Monday night after SNL.

Good luck getting tickets. They will be impossible to get unless they do paperless which would make them 80% impossible to get.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:27 PM

^ 2:17 I'd choose 4).

Posted by donn | September 13, 2011 2:28 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 2:59 PM

Ok let me this straight:

1) They're playing two nights at Roseland
2) King of Lambs will be served
3) During Idioteque, everyone will be dancing
4) These two shows will top LCD shows and will become BV's #1 show of 2011
5) Will NYC be the only N.A. debut of King of Limbs tour?

Agree?

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:00 PM

hmmmm....I went up to Roseland to pick up Jay Belin's mail today and there wasn't any Radiohead tix included (just gum and deodorant). Not sure if that means they're not playing there or if it will indeed be paperless. I don't particularly care for them either, would much rather see Portishead.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:02 PM

3:00,

You forgot one thing

6) Fro-hawk will get on stage do dance with them during "Idioteque"

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:03 PM

Well Radiohead is playing at Frohawk's house, Frohawk's house
I waited for 18 years and 15 days
There's every hipster in N. Brooklyn at Frohawk's house, Frohawk's house
And the neighbors can't...call the police
There's a fist fight brewin' at Frohawk's house, Frohawk's house
Because the sausages can't...get in the door

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:05 PM

good call on RCMH.

Shitty.

They have only Monday nights open.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:05 PM

@303pm

Nah. Thom won't allow that kind of dirty dancing during his show.

Frohawk better just stay away from Radiohead...

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:06 PM

Hey let's take a poll here. If Radiohead did for these two shows, pay what you like only at the door, how much would you give?

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:07 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:31 PM

Fuck all you cunts who shit on this band.

Its like saying you're too good/cool to breathe oxygen or something.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:35 PM

I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:39 PM

3:35, get with it. Oxygen is the most overrated element on the periodic table.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:42 PM

^I was breathing oxgyen when you fucks where sucking on your mommy's tit in Po-dunk Iowa!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:45 PM

The most underrated element is the 119-proton Frohawkium that was discovered when the successful pop icon discovered the element while displaying his shaved taint at the Big Freedia show. Its unique composition as an alkali metal makes it so that if you drop 2g of Fk (Frohawkium) into a hummus-based solution it will immediately explode and conjure the ghost of LCD Soundsystem.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:48 PM

have they ever played BROOKLYN????

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:48 PM

3:31 I was thinking perhaps not either since Elbow and Mogwai are playing those nights, with some potentially overlapping bases...unless the gigs are opening for Elbow and Mogwai. ;)

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:51 PM

No, but the played Staten Island when they opened for Wu-Tang in '96. Yeah...I was there. RZA and Jonny got on some next level shizz!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:51 PM

^big deal...I saw them at Jericho Tavern in '91. I also saw Death Grips this summer. #winning

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:54 PM

3:48 Thom Yorke probably doesn't even know where Brooklyn is, and he probably doesn't want to see your baby blue Schwinn anyway...

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:58 PM

SOLD OUT!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 3:59 PM

so frohawk is a .....girl?

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 4:19 PM

no. in the words of prince:

I'm not a woman, I'm not a man.

I amsomething that you'll never understand.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 4:27 PM

Their playing in a dumpster behind the lead singer of smash mouths house. If you don't know where that is you're not half as cool as you thought you were.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 4:48 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 4:53 PM

the new(er) wave of commenters on this site are kind of awful. get jobs, people. hopefully that will either cut down on your inane drivel here, or perhaps (though unlikely) make you more snarky.

why does repeating the same dumb shit over and over (albeit with different permutations) seem like a good and/or funny idea to you?

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 5:28 PM

So true 4:56.

The BV comments used to be seriously funny. Then the memes started: Daft Punk, Hummus, Dunkachino, Meh, Frohauk, etc. Eventually, the comments devolved into racism, homophobia and fart jokes. It's all very disappointing, and I'll bet BV shares this sentiment.

If radiohead played glastonbury for free, they should do the same to help out atp. Have them in the theater twice and every 3 day passholder gets to choose one set to attend.

The rest of the atp lineup outside portishead and mangum has been a tad underwhelming and we really could use something with a wow factor like radiohead. Too much tuneless gloom and old school hip hop nobody but aging white dweebs still cares about.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 7:18 PM

7:18 is right. ATP has a weak lineup outside of Friday and the two headliners. Not much else that is exciting. Best weekend of the year without a doubt, but a Radiohead appearance would seal it as the best weekend ever.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 7:47 PM

Friday is the weakest day, by far.

radiohead is playing a secret show on the willaimsburg bridge on 9/25 morning 3am. do not tell anyone.

Posted by i heard | September 13, 2011 8:43 PM

Just heard - Barbes, 3 nights, Slavic Soul Party opening, full Django Reinhart set list

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 8:46 PM

folks need to deal with the fact that atp sucks, AND that radiohead is not playing there. suckas!

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 9:14 PM

you guys are funny. its been a few months since i walked up bedford in the afternoon to giggle at the ironics and new tat covering bandages. this is almost as good.
radiohead should help out their old pals metropolitan presents and play ethical culture society. most of their best nyc shows were played for metro...both hammersteins, 2001 liberty state park, irving, a few msg's. those guys were swallowed by the misery of LN, BP, AEG. saving metro would be a better cause for thom than saving the earth.

Posted by tubro | September 13, 2011 9:15 PM

"radiohead should help out their old pals metropolitan presents and play ethical culture society"

BEST idea I have heard on BrooklynVegan in a super long time. That venue would be perfect for them. Only problem is the size.....maybe they could do a few nights, or early/late shows.

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 9:18 PM

turbo - saw Jonny's premiere at that place in may - not a bad idea

Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2011 9:40 PM

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 6:25 AM

Hmmm let's start guessing possible openers......

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 9:26 AM

Possible openers: Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, Wavves, etc.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 10:11 AM

Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks opened for Radiohead around 2002/3, and Malkmus's tour schedule is free on 9/25, the night before he plays Terminal 5 on 9/26.

Just sayin...

@11:18 AM
I would shit my fucking pants...

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 11:39 AM

For the last time, they are doing a special Colbert taping on 9/26.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 12:17 PM

ATP needs to get over Shellac because they fucking suck.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 12:38 PM

ATP needs to start listening to the commenters on BV immediately. Close up shop, everything sucks.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 1:01 PM

1217 who gives a shit! you said 9/25 yesterday now you're saying 9/26?

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 1:32 PM

My bet is they are going to play at University of the Streets. And Thom Yorke gonna get beat down by that fellow who punches all the bands there.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 1:34 PM

Radiohead are playing a fundraiser for battered women organized by Colin P Fitz

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 3:41 PM

I would maybe go if the Spin Doctors headlined and Radiohead opened. Otherwise, its a waste of time

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 3:59 PM

Spin Doctors, then Presidents of the United States of America, THEN Radiohead. Perfect.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:12 PM

Creep is a slowed down rip off of the greatest song of all time, which is Two Princes by Spin Doctors.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:13 PM

no no no no no no radiohead, then the toadies, then spin doctors is what is called the holy trinity

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:15 PM

Chris Barron lead singer of Spin Doctors here. Radiohead claims they got their name from a Talking Heads song called "Radio Head," but in reality I was hanging out with Thom Yorke back in the day. We were both baked out of our minds. A small pocket radio got tangled in my beard. I hadn't washed my beard in several weeks, so it was really lodged in there and wouldn't come out. Spin Doctors played the show that evening, and Thom Yorke & Johnny Greenwood were in the front row. They were so stoned, and said the radio looked like it was my head from their view below the stage looking up at me. The nick-name Radiohead was born, and the rest was history. I, Chris Barron, am really the original Radiohead. They stole the band name from me, among other things.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:23 PM

ATP should book Spin Doctors to play Friday and Saturday nights, weekend pass holders are guranateed to see Spin Doctors at least once. There will also be three-day Spin Doctors passes available at Brooklyn Flea this Saturday.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:38 PM

ATP should have a Spin Doctors festival. Have Spin Doctors tribute bands play each night until the real Spin Doctors play the headlining slot each night as well. Beards and strong stink factors should be highly encouraged as well.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:43 PM

someone needs to take their focusing agents, jesus

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:48 PM

And during the intermissions, they should play bootleg concerts of spin doctors. that would be amazing.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:51 PM

Thom Yorke here, I actually wrote my smash hit Creep after hearing the song Little Miss Cant Be Wrong. I wrote it from the viewpoint of how his Little Miss Cant Be Wrong makes him feel, like a creep. The rest is rock history.

Posted by Thom Yorke | September 14, 2011 4:56 PM

I hate the Spin Doctors more than Bin Laden, and only slightly more than Hitler. Therefore Bin Laden > Spin Doctors > Hitler.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 4:56 PM

my god, thom is right, little miss cant be wrong came out in 1991, creep came out in 1992!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 5:00 PM

Johnny Greenwood here from Radiohead. When Chris Barron and I use to toke it up backstage he had this super expensive bong that was hooked up to a lawn mower engine. Don't ask me to go into the schematics of it all, but when he turned it on it would make this really loud, bursting explosive noise. When Radiohead was in the process of writing Creep I remembered that noise clear as day and tried to emulate it as best as possible on my guitar. The famous "Ker-chunk" explosion right before Creep's chorus is all a result of Spin Doctors magical getting high powers. Little did I know it would propel us into this wonderful world of rock stardom. Thanks to that bong I never had to work a day in my life since.

Posted by Johnny Greenwood | September 14, 2011 5:01 PM

I actually asked Chris Barron, lead singer of Spin Doctors, to be in my solo project called Atoms for Peace. He smelled funny, but he made his laugh. Everything worked out fine for awhile, but him and Flea never quite saw eye to eye, and I needed Flea more than Chris Barron unfortunately for the live show. Flea's clean shaven self constantly clashed with Barron's unkept self. It was a ying & yang scenario that never quite found a proper balance.

Posted by Thom Yorke | September 14, 2011 5:06 PM

Man, fuck the Spin Doctors. ATP should really have Kris Kross performing their classic Totally Krossed Out and everyone should wear their clothes backwards. Now THAT would be cool and then everyone could just take a nap during The Album Leaf.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 5:40 PM

I think Kris Kross is a fantastic idea. Young MC could open performing the classic Stone Cold Rhymin'. With such a solid line-up The Spin Doctors would be on the "C" stage. Throw a little Del the Funky Homosapien in there for good measure.

Posted by My Name is Young | September 14, 2011 5:50 PM

you guys with your spin doctors rumors are causing quite a row over on the radiohead forums. but if you come on over here you can see how wrong you are by reading our 1,231 separate threads about how Ed is the pothead in the band.

Posted by At Ease Web | September 14, 2011 5:56 PM

i always wondered how hard it was to pee when you had your pants on backwards. do you think that they wore Depends and just didnt worry about it?

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 7:03 PM

Chris Barron here again from Spin Doctors. Thom Yorke just called me on the phone and apologized for never giving credit where credit is due for using the name Radiohead without proper credit being giving to Spin Doctors. He also acknowledged that Creep was 100% inspired by our great song Two Princes. He said that he & his management team, hair stylists, and image consultants are all meeting next week to discuss how to best handle all the royalties past due to Spin Doctors. Can someone say money in the bank!!! I heard they were going to do some kind of online donation where you donate money to Radiohead on a pay what you want. Radiohead is going to tour and only play covers of Spin Doctors songs. Every $100,000 raised will mean Radiohead will actually play a Radiohead song instead of a Spin Doctors song. If they hit $2,000,000 then they won't play any Spin Doctors songs at all, and will only play Radiohead songs. All of the money will be given to me for past due money owed. Maybe now I can buy some of that famous Pineapple Express I've always wanted to try, and who knows maybe I'll let this Ed O'Brien guy toke it up with me too at that time.

Posted by Chris Barron | September 14, 2011 7:19 PM

That tastes like something you'd hear coming out of a Vermeer painting.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 10:50 PM

If this is happening, it would make more sense as a warm up sort of gig before the SNL appearance as they did in 2000. But I can't even fathom how difficult tickets would be to come by. Even then, they sold out in around a minute or two I think

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 11:21 PM

Luckily for everyone at BV, all the tickets will be held back and distributed to cool people in the know. So you're all okay.

Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2011 11:41 PM

already on the list

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 2:04 AM

7:03,

I think they didn't use the pee hole and just actually pulled their pants and underwear down. Who knows, though, it was 1991 and people were into Milli Vanilli.

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 10:11 AM

Spin Doctors are actually booking the secret show under the guise of Radiohead. They heard this Radiohead band is kind of a big deal, so they thought pretending to be Radiohead would get more hipsters instead of hippies in the door. When they bust out Two Princes the place will go nuts!

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 10:49 AM

do you wanna die
do you wanna die
do you wanna die
do you wanna diieeeeeehhh

I will treat you well

i hope i just got that song stuck in everyones head. thanks yoooouu

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 1:23 PM

you know hipsters would dress like hippies if that was the cool thing to do. same thing happened when everyone wore IOU and z cavericci in the 1990s.

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 1:31 PM

^not true..I only wore jordache, hypercolor and my kool kicks british knights!

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 2:11 PM

im pretty sure hipsters are going to start wearing capes soon

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 3:30 PM

All the best bands start with the letter "S"... Spin Doctors, Soul Aslyum, and most of all Silverchair... "Very hard to drink, You gonna wait too, fat boy, wait til tomorrow." I bet Radiohead stole the big riffs off of In Rainbows from Silverchair as well as Spin Doctors.

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 4:27 PM

Where is Creed playing?

Posted by Scott Stapp Fan | September 15, 2011 5:45 PM

Scott Stapp actually has two "S's" in it. Wow. Never though Creed was tolerable until now. Sssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 5:50 PM

Scott Stapp could join Spin Doctors and they could change their name to S.S.S.D. and be more formally known as Scott Stapp's Spin Doctors. They could play Silver Chair & Soul Aslyum cover songs and bill themselves as S.S.S.D.S.C.S.A..... "Scott Stapp's Spin Doctors Silver Chair Soul Aslyum" extravaganza. Then again, Chris Barron wouldn't allow that, and Thom Yorke & Johnny Greenwood certainly wouldn't be in the front row for that event.

Posted by Anonymous | September 15, 2011 5:52 PM

F*ck all of you amateurs! Radiohead will be playing at The Box where admission will be $1000 per person and they'll be having the resident trannies peeing on the audience. Iz gonna be freeky and sneaky, yo!!!
