Anika @ Glasslands
Anika

Anika is back on the road with her backing band (that contains 2/3 of BEAK>), and will invade Empty Bottle in Chicago TONIGHT (10/10) with tour-mate Slowdance before heading to Beauty Bar the for an after-party DJ set. The tour continues until late October with a stint on the West Coast and an appearance at Moog Fest 2011 in Ashville, NC. Full tour schedule is below.

Anika's second NYC date (the first was at LPR), which came after an appearance at ATP NJ, was at Glasslands on 10/6. There she was joined by Ducktails, Slowdance, and Hard Bop. Here are some pictures from that one and the setlist and a video too. It all continues below...

Anika yes she look like many woman from my country but more pretty. I would very much like to have sweet sexy with Anika and make many male babys for her. Thes is what music supposed to be about.

Anika sucks. Ok, we get the ironic throwback to Nico but this is pretty crap. Amatuer hour.

Anika is great. Professional hour.

Did anyone else read what Nico said about Anika in the last issue of Rolling Stone? Brutal.

Posted by Anonymous | October 10, 2011 6:20 PM

^ Lame.

Posted by Anonymous | October 10, 2011 8:00 PM

Was what Nico said lame or was it what the commentor said that was lame? Please clarify. And does anyone have the link to the Nico interview?

Posted by Anonymous | October 10, 2011 9:53 PM

Nico died in 1988 so I doubt anyone's gonna have a link to a recent interview. I think that is what is meant by "lame".

Posted by Anonymous | October 10, 2011 10:04 PM
