Speaking of Sacred Bones, the label has posted a new Crystal Stilts track from the band's forthcoming Radiant Door EP (out via Sacred Bones on 11/15). "Dark Eyes" is the album opener, and you can download it above or stream it below where you can also see the cover art.
Maybe the band will perform the song at some of their forthcoming shows, including the one in Brooklyn at Knitting Factory on 12/9 with Happy Refugees and McDonalds. Tickets are on sale. All dates are listed below...

Brian Jonestown Massacre is so much better at ripping other people off.

They're on Sacred Bones now? Is that because every other band on Slumberland is better than Crystal Stilts?

^ Ha. Actually, you can remove "on Slumberland" from that statement and it would seem a lot more accurate.

oh hell. i really like sacred bones. not necessarily everything on the label, but i do like the way the graphics look, they market themselves, and a whole bunch of artists on it - zola (is my) jesus, psychic ills and religious knives along with the men. so, if i may be so bold to ask, what the fuck are these clowns who can't play doing on that label. damn! :(

No offense, but sounds like a garden variety My Bloody Valentine / Jesus & Mary Chain / Spaceman 3 knock off band. Pretty generic.
Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 12:23 PM
My Bloody Valentine sounds nothing like Jesus & Mary Chain.
